Trump supporter ‘Diamond’ died of heart disease, death certificate says

Despite the conspiracy theories and claims that she died from the Covid vaccine, the famous Diamond of Diamond and Silk, superstars of the vaunted Newsmax network, Diamond actually passed away from a problem afflicting millions of Americans, and one that affects African Americans at a higher right, hypertension and related heart disease.

Shortly after her passing, MAGA conspiracy theorists took to social media to imply or even openly state that Diamond was the victim of a vaccine. That appears untrue.

ynette Hardaway, a zealous supporter of former President Donald Trump whose death had prompted widespread speculation over its cause, died earlier this month of a heart condition, according to a death certificate obtained Monday by The Associated Press.

Known by the stage name “Diamond” of the conservative political commentary duo Diamond and Silk, Hardaway, 51, died Jan. 8 of heart disease caused by chronic high blood pressure.


Hardaway and her sister, Rochelle “Silk” Richardson, found internet stardom as Black women who ardently backed Trump during his 2016 presidential campaign. After making several campaign appearances with the former president, the two leveraged their fame to land regular commentator roles at Fox News. Their promotion of coronavirus falsities eventually got them dropped, but they landed at the far-right cable and digital media platform Newsmax.


The cause of Hardaway’s death, which was not released by the family, had become a topic of broad speculation. A torrent of social media users suggested Covid-19 was to blame.

But the corruption of a different kind nonetheless. But then again, a medical examiner or coroner's report is not corruptible since there are medical professional standards at play here. It is the official cause of death. The family, of course, can have a different coroner, but I don't think her sister would do such a thing because nothing controversial at all. She was overweight, not in the best health, did not eat properly from what sources have said, and had several other issues. And yes, she had medical issues. Why do you think she quit working long before she became infamous as a trump supporter?
