Time and time again, con artists never ever seem to take personal responsibility for their
actions. Speaking of which, didn't Lying Donnie promise to take of legal fees of his supporters who got into trouble?

The left should be here any minute to tell us that she was obviously there looking for a fight and she found it and then cheer it on. That she shouldn't have been there at a Trump rally protesting Trump.

I don't condone any violence against others unless it's defense. If this happened to her, the one responsible should be arrested.

Wait a second. In this thread http://www.politicalforum.com/index...n-left-bloody-after-fight-with-antifa.502305/ you guys actually justify a person getting beat up if he ventures into enemy territory. So what is it?

He didn't act at Trump's urging, he acted of his own free will and is fully responsible for what he did. Not Trump, him. Trump is a terrible terrible person and president but he does not have the power to take over a person's mind and make them do things.

The Violent Clashes In Berkeley Weren't 'Pro-Trump' Versus 'Anti-Trump'
The media's oversimplification of what happened during Saturday's rally risks obscuring a long-brewing and fast-escalating conflict between the far left and the far right.

According to reports in mainstream news outlets like CNN, the Los Angeles Timesand the Washington Post, Saturday saw pro-Trump demonstrators clash with anti-Trump protesters in Berkeley, California, while more placid "Tax Day" marches took place around the country calling on the president to release his tax returns. The news stories offer largely the same account and framing as that given by the LA Times: "hundreds of pro-Trump demonstrators and counter-protesters clashed Saturday at a 'Patriots Day' rally… Both groups threw rocks and sticks at each other and used a large trash bin as a battering ram… Twenty-one people were arrested… Eleven people were injured."

All of this did happen. But such accounts missed the most crucial aspects of what was at stake in the Berkeley clashes, and thus fail to explain why there were aggressive altercations at all. To frame Saturday's events as a fight between supporters of the president and his denouncers roundly misses the key tensions undergirding the confrontation: that of anti-fascists versus white nationalists.

This moment from @SFGate shows how crazy these "Freedom of Speech" rallies get. And they want these at all our cities. #Berkeley

This is not to say that each or even the majority, of the hundreds of pro-Trump attendees sympathize with the Venn Diagram of white supremacist, alt-right, anti-Semitic and neo-Nazi groups which intersect with the president's broader support base. But as firsthand testimonies, numerous images and videos shared on social media can attest, explicitly racist groups and individuals were present in force, some having traveled from out of state to attend. Equally, the masked, black clad anti-fascist protesters did not amass in Berkeley to confront a gathering of people who just happened to vote for Trump. Their presence followed calls to action, which had named the specific far right and neo-Nazi alliances that were planning to attend, and indeed helped organize, the "Patriots Day" rally. The violence from both the far left and far right rested on a fulcrum that, while emphasized in the Trump era, far predates his presidency; anti-fascist have long met white supremacists with force in the streets.

Media reports relying on the "pro-Trump versus anti-Trump" framing missed some glaring and more subtle cues about the nature of Saturday's protests. Multiple demonstrators, some of who donned Make America Great Again hats, performed Nazi salutes in full public view.

The sign reading "Da Goyim Know" is no dog whistle—it's an anti-Semitic foghorn. And it was not a lone nut job carrying the sign to express his own fringe hate. The placard was a part of a series of banners made and carried by dozens of people, all in the same design and style, but some with more veiled messages, such as "Defend America."

Images from the day shared on Twitter also show the presence of numerous flags featuring Pepe the Frog (the alt-right mascot), as well as the flag of "Kek," an alt-right, meme infused appropriation of the Nazi Ensign. A group of anti-fascist street medics who go by "Pastel Bloc" on Twitter told me that they saw members of the so-called pro-Trump crowd throwing bagels at counter-protesters as an anti-semitic taunt. One neo-Nazi, raising his right arm to Heil for the camera, carried a flag bearing the black sun of Odinism, a paganist symbol common in Nazi mythology.

Berkeley police arrest 20 at Trump protest

    Autoplay: On | Off

BERKELEY — The arrest total from Saturday’s violent clash between protesters supporting or opposing President Donald Trump grew to 23 on Sunday when Alameda County Sheriff’s Office officials released the names of those who were nabbed.

Police late Saturday originally announced 20 arrests and 11 injuries after fighting broke out at Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center Park, where Trump backers and members of the so-called alt-right movement held a “free speech” rally. Opponents of the movement, calling themselves anti-fascists, also were there among the crowd of about 200.
The two sides wasted no time in going after each other with fists, sticks, flagpoles and worse. Eleven people were injured, including one person who was stabbed, police said.

According to the Sheriff’s Office arrest log, seven people were arrested on suspicion of committing felonies, and 16 others were arrested on suspicion of committing misdemeanors. Berkeley police did not return phone calls Sunday, but the Sheriff’s Office confirmed the arrest log.

Michael Hornsby, 27; Willie Morning, 59; Geovanni Ramirez, 32; Tahtanerriah Sessomshowell, 26; Carlos Barbarossa, 29; Luke Dennis, 36; and Robert Peete, 52, face felony charges, according to the log.

“The charges include arrests for assault with a deadly weapon and several other felony assaults,” police said in an announcement Saturday evening, adding that more arrests would likely be pursued after video and social media posts were reviewed.

Police in riot gear were on hand to try to keep the peace, with limited success. During the melee, loud explosions were heard in the crowd, immediately followed by fistfights. BART closed its downtown Berkeley station during the protests.

In its Saturday statement, police said officers tried to protect people and their free speech rights — despite organizers’ lack of a permit — by prohibiting potential weapons, limiting park entry and exit, and sharing citation and arrest risks for rule violations. They put up a plastic barricade in an attempt to keep the opposing sides apart and collected anything that could be used as a weapon. Police had banned metal pipes, baseball or softball bats, lumber or wood of any size, poles, bricks, rocks, glass bottles, pepper spray and other objects.

Despite their efforts, police said officers confiscated pepper and bear spray, knives and mace, an ax handle and a concrete-filled can at Saturday’s protest, and that city staff cleaning the park before the rally found a replica gun.

Saturday’s protest followed a series of demonstrations — both violent and nonviolent — that have swept the country since Trump took office in January.

A March 4 rally and counter-protest in Berkeley, planned by several of the same groups as those who announced this one, also resulted in several injuries and arrests.

In February, a scheduled appearance by former Breitbart News editor and provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos at UC Berkeley was canceled after agitators who infiltrated a large crowd of protesters on campus threw rocks, broke windows and set fires outside the student union building and throughout downtown Berkeley. Some downtown businesses boarded up windows in advance of Saturday’s protest as a precaution.

And Berkeley will be tested again: According to the Daily Cal newspaper, conservative firebrand Ann Coulter has been invited by the College Republicans and bridgeCal to speak on campus later this month.

Anyone with photos or video that could help identify law-breakers may send them to Berkeley police by visiting http://bit.ly/berkvideo.

The mere fact that peeps are going to these protests with weapons show the intent to escalate to violence. Seems pretty stupid.

I remember that mothers were very upset with Bill Clinton when he insinuated that a blow job did not constitute sex. A married friend
of mine gave a sigh of relief. To this day, blow jobs are being given in large numbers by teenagers, due to the Clinton pronouncement,
after they get talked into it of course. Actually, guys have been cajoling girls into it forever. It's just easier today, when they can quote
    a President.

We're not. What the guy did was wrong and should have the book thrown at him. However to claim that his actions were inspired by President Trump as some sort of proof that President Trump abused women or is a bad person is faulty.

She literally tweeted that she was there to cause violence. Not only that but the way she postured herself just before she got punched indicated that she was going to inflict harm on somebody. As a side note I thought feminists were about Women being just as capable as men. So she shouldn't get sympathy just for being a woman. She's strong enough to handle herself.

We have women serving in US special forces, and men dressing like women too. Feminism, and transgenderism have consequences I guess.

How about his own recorded words - bragging about grabbing Pu$$y?
    How about his sealed divorces?
How about his disgusting remarks about lusting after his daughter?
How about his encouraging violence in his rallies and saying he'll pay the legal fees for anybody using violence?
I could go on, but you see a person that doesn't exist. I see a reality show host devoid of morals, that only thinks of himself and money.
