    YOU are making the assumption that it was some "Obama holdover" while completely ignoring the fact that everyone agreed on what was said originally, then when Grenell comes in and all the sudden the "facts" change to help Trump and everyone on the right jumps in lock step.

    EVERYTHING with the right today is some conspiracy theory of some lefty, or some "Obama holdover", while they completely ignore what was said and how it was said. The justification fro ANYTHING that hurts Trump today is "OOBAAAMMMA HOLDOVER!!!!!" Hell, you all have denied what the intelligence community said happened in 2016, but now they are the all knowing because Trumps guy changed the already released message. Its laughable to watch

    You also seem to be ignoring the fact that Grenell was brought in for this very reason. He is a lock step Trump guy, and Stevie Wonder could see why he was brought in as the DNI. Hell, if Obama brought in a guy who bought an ambassadorship with a campaign contribution, who had absolutely NO Intelligence experience, to RUN the intelligence community, you would loose your everlovin minds. But in this case, you not only defend it, you actually believe whats being said.

    I agreed they hacked the dnc and the information released revealed the corruption in the dnc and Clinton campaign which likely helped some

    This tool was brought in to replace a previous Trump appointed tool (Maguire) who replaced somebody who was Senate confirmed and by most accounts did a decent job (Coats). Between Maguire and Coats, we almost had the ultimate Trump tool (Ratcliffe).

    Yep, the job of DNI is moving along swimmingly... I'm going to get my HS Junior to get his resume ready...

    Another in a growing list of actions taken by this President to dismantle our existing, & long successful, Constitutional system of government, & replacing it with his own appointees, loyal to him personally & NOT to the Constitution. It appears that those who continue supporting Trump with enthusiasm, are mostly those who regard our Constitutional government--or government in general--as the enemy, & want it dismembered. What they don't seem to realize is that no nation survives for long without some form of government, & the form replacing our Constitution may turn out to be a lot worse for them than the one they're helping destroy. Trump is an enthusiastic authoritarian. If he succeeds in becoming America's first dictator, even his avid supporters will become victims of his distrust, & lose the freedoms they have now under the Constitution. I am consistently amazed that this simple truth is beyond their ability to perceive.

    The intel community said that the Russians helped Trump. They did that theu more than just the release of the dem emails. Thats was very clear in the Intelligence report

    Obama tried and McConnell blocked them. McConnell is on the record as saying that he would play politics with the interference and that if Obama went public with it, he would accuse Obama of playing politics. In doing so he would cast doubt in what Obama said, but also in the validity of the election. Obama was smart enough to understand what that could do to our democracy.

    So Sanders was briefed on this ? Is you beef that he didn't tell anyone ? Or that he didn't tell anyone because they were helping him ?

    McConnell was playing POLITICS !!!!! Obama knew that if he was accused of playing politics that:
    1. It would taint his message, and most likely skew the election TO the republicans
    2. He would be seen as trying to subvert democracy

    Obama knew these things, but so did McConnell. McConnell chose party over country
