    I'd like to think he can have a positive impact on the area during his visit, but I'm not sure if things are just too far gone and anything he does will be seen as pandering to specific groups. Maybe all hope isn't lost. I just don't know.

    Do you think Trump's visit to Wisconsin will be beneficial to the community and to his party? How so? If not, why not?

    I think it's the right thing for him to do. To be nitpicky it shouldve been done sooner imo but I think it's a good political move by Trump (this is subject to change depending on what he actually says once there)

    Anyone can be charged. It's conviction that's important. The flood gates have been opened either way but his conviction will probably be the spark of a new kind of protest and the start of two large groups attacking each other. The only thing that will stop this is military or federal intervention.

    I'd like to think he can have a positive impact too. At least he is trying. We can't just throw in the towel on entire cities even if they do seem "too far gone". There are still innocent decent civilized people caught in these areas too ---- and there is still law enforcement caught between doing their jobs and following the orders of their virtue signaling grandstanding Democrat mayors and governors ---- and those people all deserve the support of their duly elected President. Beyond that, frankly I don't give a damn if the rioters and looters and Dem politicians are mad if Trump visits ---- what are they going to do, burn down one more store??

    No, but there are riots, looting, violence; President Trump will look Presidential with Democrats in the background rioting, looting and in general, being violent.

    I'm not sure. It feels like it's "too little, too late". I hope his intentions are sincere and it could be the start of addressing the issues, but I don't know that can happen at this point.

    No, it won't be pretty. What do you think the USA will be like once the dust settles from all these protests and counter protests? Will we go back to how we were before? Or will some aspects of the country be changed forever?

    Does it ever bother you that you're using historic misery to shield your own deep personal issues? Does it worry you that your lack of historical knowledge is so publicly available when you post it? Do you even know how to spell Krisyalnacht.? It's actually Kristallnacht, but who cares about spelling when you can't even get the history right. Does it embarrass you that you've just compared the attempt by nazis to rid their society of jews to a kid protecting himself from the democratic party's brownshirts?
