Dude.... you should have listed your phone number. I am sure CNN & MSNBC will want your story.

I hear that Trump also stole Green Eggs and Ham from the late Dr Seuss.

I’ll give you Bribery will be one of the articles and Trump will be impeached in the House. However beyond that my only expectation is a Republican clown show during the House process and Chief Justice Roberts doing his best to tap down a repeat during the Senate trial.

The House Republican’s have the ability to alienate everyone in the country expect ardent Trump supporters if they wander too far down their go-to rabbit hole.

It would be nice if you guys understood bribery, not that it matters to the House.

Senate Repubs are toying with what rationale they will use to acquit. Currently under discussion...............acknowledge the overwhelming evidence of the quid pro quo and cover-up but claim (for reasons beyond understanding) they don't think the offense is impeachable.......................throw Sondland, Mulvaney, and Giuliani under the bus and say they went rogue.

Acquittal is a certainty unless The Following accepts the truth and puts pressure on Repubs to convict...............and we all know that will never happen.

There is one major problem with your arguments. Not just this one, but most of them.

Even prior to Trump taking office, the democrats wanted to impeach him. They have spent over three years looking for reasons to do it. Trump has been under the most intense scrutiny of any president. We may not like Trump, but we see what the democrats are doing and like it even less. And that is the reason why the senate may not vote to remove.

Since calls for impeachment started, at the latest, January 30, 2017, 10 days after the inauguration, the impeachable offense had to be winning the 2016 election. Go with that,

I recommend that the Senate throw any Articles of Impeachment in the trash and not even hold an impeachment trial. It would be too confusing. After all this Ukraine quid pro quo thing is just the impeachment du jour. That is still hot in the House yet Schiff is already working on next week's impeachment reason.

It is useful to remember that the House will vote on articles of impeachment of which bribery (a high crime) is but one. Should the House focus on bribery, most if not all, Republican objectives vanish. The public will see this revealed in all its ugliness on their flat panels, in front of the kids.

Once the Party of Trump has blasted the first two or three witnesses as corrupt, dishonest, traitors, ill informed, mistaken, and Trump haters, the public will lose interest in hearing anything else from the POT.

The truth about what? That Trump was demanding that Ukraine satisfy the terms of a decades old treaty before extending loan guarantees or meet with their leader?

Liona was upset that Trump circumvented channels comprised of radical partisans who were lined up to destroy him for over 3 years. Boo Hoo.

If they charge bribery for doing something that every US government going back as far as Lincoln as done to a greater or lesser extent the Repulicans on the defense team will simply move for summary dismissal of that bullshit where upon it will then be punted on to the ash heap of history where it so richly deserves to be. Or they might opt for the sake of narrow political interests to keep Bernie and Elizabeth among others tied up in the capitol on a pointless trial during the peak campaign season, and then punt that load of fecal matter where it belongs.

You expect truth to come out in testimony from Washington DC insiders?

That's the most optimistic thing i have ever heard.

Here is the truth as i understand it.

Ukraine was and still is very corrupt.

The Bidens were deeply involved in Ukraine. Probably lots of DC was and was probably a bipartisan effort.

The Bidens had a corrupt prosecutor fired and replaced with their own corrupt prosecutor.

Trump wanted Ukraine to address corruption in particular Biden and Burisma.
Trump's motivations were unclear and subject of lots of speculation.

Trump asked the Ukrainian president to investigate.

Whether Trump intended quid pro quo
Is hotly debated and disputed even among those closest to the issue.

Trump never got anything from the Ukrainians.

Rudy and his cronies were up to something in Ukraine maybe no good maybe not. At any rate it was confusing to ambassadors and staff

That staff went to house Democrats and developed a plan to go after Trump. Long before any of this started and were possibly planning this as a coup.

A big muddy mess that can be spun any way you like depending on whoes testimony you like and how you interpret it.

When one sees a $&_# hole, one sees a $#&# hole. Have we not been seeing endless bumbling, exasperating ignorance, and chaotic direction from this president? It was predicted from the beginning. You were so up on Republicans being so more well informed, yet you see nothing troubling about the behavior of Trump and the things he says. Can you not see that he is not all that bright? Even Lindsey Graham has made comments about Trump that are very similar to the "anonymous" allegations in the op-ed and in the new book. It is quite obvious that he is in over his head.

And something is very wrong with his relationship with Russia. Trump has strained the relationships with our allies, while siding with dictators like Putin, Kim, and the Saudi king, even through their worse acts.

I read a lot of accounts of the latest G7 summit. Before hand, it was expected that Trump would cause a big disruption, and nothing would get done. After all, Trump's agenda was to get Putin a seat at the table. Expecting a lot of drama, there were an overabundance of reporters at hand.

Yet as the Summit proceeded, Trump sat mostly quiet in the background. As the stories came out, a story worthy of a movie appeared. Turns out the heads of the other countries, fearing a Trump disruption, much the way people fear the behavior of a disruptive toddler, made a plan to minnimize him.

Macron, being the host, took it upon himself to praise and woo Trump, to play to his vanities, give him special attention, while others got business done. Macron even tricked Trump into meeting with an Iranian diplomat. It was only afterwards that he realized that Macron had played him, that Macron, along with other leaders, like Angela Merkel, had given speeches highly critical of Trump and his policies.

Are you going to watch the public hearings next week?

The last sentence is correct. It is very easy to poke holes in witnesses because they usually can easily be traced back to connections with known anti-Trumpers. ie. the latest in a long line of democrats manufactured drama Ukraine and the "whistleblower" and his/her/alphabet's attorney. When Trump gets on national television and exposes that to Mr. and Mrs. America who previously paid little attention to the newz, it will blow over like the Kavanaugh hearings. The general public is fed up to their ears with the democrats constant caterwauling.
The alt-lefties lost when Trump called their bluff and released the transcript to the American public. The tee shirts he is making another fortune from selling has the perfect statement across the chest, "Read the transcript"

That’s when concern began to grow outside the Trump administration. Kent told investigators that Republican lawmakers — including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman James Inhofe and Sen. Rob Portman, a former OMB chief — called the president directly to inquire about the aid freeze.

Some of the president’s defenders have asserted that holds on foreign aid are fairly common — but Fiona Hill, a former Russia adviser on the National Security Council, told investigators that this particular hold was unusual, especially because there was no explanation or justification, and all of the factors that would typically lead to a hold had been resolved.

No anger just the truth. This peculiar notion that anti Trump zealots have that the only lens through which reality can be view is their own would be laughable were it not so trite and sad.
