It's when you put Trump's answers together that you realize how wrong he was about how big this pandemic was going to get.

    That's what history will remember.

Before Obama became president he thought gay people were lesser humans and weren’t deserving of marriage? Do has you still condemn him to this day?

Also, you should show videos of doctors not over reacting either when we didn’t have as much info. You should also show the MSM and Dem leaders calling Trump a racist xenophobe for wanting to shut down travel from China early on. The same way they called it a China virus before it was racist to. All hypocrites!

As usual Trump can’t express himself properly. He doesn’t want to overreact and sound like the sky is falling which does NOT inspire confidence. He wants to sound positive but instead can come off sounding like he’s ignoring the problem or downplaying it to SOME people. Obviously he could have taken the typical politician answer that says “we’re doing all we can and are gathering info...”. Blah blah blah that usually just means “we dont know ****”. We’ve heard it all before. This is where TDS comes in. It causes that person to ONLY hear bad things and interpret EVERYTHING bad, due to the shroud of rage that controls their thought patterns. It’s not healthy. It removes rational thought. It removes context. It removes understanding the person who is speaking and their style of speech. Trump always wants to sound strong and “tough” and it doesn’t play well sometimes. It’s a front. Understanding where he’s coming from is the key. It helps one not jump to conclusions.

    He lied to the people.

Nothing to do with a communications strategy to calm the Americans.

What's happening today is proof that he didn't take the threat seriously, because he's more concerned about the impact of bad news on his re-election.

    Exactly.

His Inaction (early on) has led/will lead to more Unnecessary Deaths.

Trump's "Legacy" will be forever defined by his INEPTITUDE in handling this Virus Crisis.

The 2 Things that Will DEFINE Trump Historically:

    Impeachment and Ineptitude.

    Exactly.

However, his fans are already spinning this into something it was not. Their defenses are:

    -He tried to prevent panic
    -He "banned" travel from China
    -It's the governors' fault

Watch especially the last excuse become more and more prevalent, as Fox news ramps up the spin effort to defend the president.

You're so funny! You're advertising for the guy who was the Communications Director for Evan McMullin, the 2016 NeverTrump candidate.

Rick Wilson is a "Republican" who makes Mitt Romney look like Trump's biggest supporter in all of America. :roflol:

Every time there has been a major crisis in the US, different points of view clash depending on the political orientation.

But for this, the case is made.

It's impossible to claim that Trump took the threat seriously at the beginning of the pandemic.

He spread his unbridled optimism in every interview he gave for at least 10 days.

Even when we were getting close to 500 cases, at no time did he talk about special measures to protect the public.

He continued to pretend that everything was under control.

What was the lady who holds the nation's purse strings and who sets priorities and votes on funding doing when this started?

Oh, that's right. The virus wasn't a priority even she and her cohorts had been briefed on the virus.

She was working on things that were a top priority to less than half the country, instead of anything for the entire country.

He happy. Democrat leadership is always working hard for less than 50% of the people first!

    February 24th.

What was Nancy P. doing to encourage social distancing, although she had top-level briefing about the Coronavirus???

    Oh, that's right.

Encouraging San Franciscans, "Come to China Town!!! It's safe!" She couldn't let a measly little flu-like virus get in the way of the California economy, even when she had real information before the rest of us.

    February 24th.

Oh, what? Pelosi/Schiff/Schumer had everyone distracted with their feeble Peach Mint charges 24 hours a day 7 days a week in January?

So no one even paid attention when Trump announced the task force on January 29th, that he had been working to put together over the previous weeks as soon as he was briefed?

Why didn't anyone notice that the U.S. had a Coronovirus Task Force in January, when there were only 5 cases in the country and the president was right on top of putting a group together to figure out how to best address it????

I wonder who was grabbing the media spotlight? Hmmm.... Starts with a Nancy and ends with a Pelosi.

    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/trump-announces-coronavirus-task-force

"Just received a briefing on the Coronavirus in China from all of our GREAT agencies, who are also working closely with China. We will continue to monitor the ongoing developments. We have the best experts anywhere in the world, and they are on top of it 24/7!

Trump has otherwise said little on the growing health crisis, instead focusing his attention publicly on the
White House's Middle East peace plan and North American trade deal with Mexico and Canada.

    Global health experts
said they planned to declare Thursday whether to announce a public health emergency as cases of coronavirus multiply. Five confirmed cases are in the United States."

Sorry. But Pelosi is in the media spotlight today telling everyone that Trump didn't respond, when she is the one who didn't take this seriously. She should have been spending all her face time with the media calling for urgent response to Coronavirus instead of smugly grinning that "Impeachment is forever," and inviting everyone to go down to China Town because "It's safe."

Nancy was fiddling while America was burning, and today she is still blaming Trump.

But at least, when Trump and Mitch weirdly turned into Socialists and wanted a short and fast bill to mail checks to everyone and give loans to businesses...at least....then....Nancy helped out right? Right?

No. She couldn't do short and quick relief money. She had to drag things out for weeks, and then....

If Pelosi really wanted the country to burn and Trump didn't, why didn't the task force begin stockpiling materials during the impeachment trial? If this task force existed, then the bureaucracy could have done what it needs to do and start stockpiling. Or after impeachment was done with (the trial ended on Feb 5th), he divert all of his attention to fighting Corona? Then you would have to explain why he told people to not worry about it and start downplaying the illness when it was getting more serious.

We had 5 deaths at the end of January.

He was working on Middle East Peace and trade deals with China and with Canada/Mexico when the virus also got piled on top. Our president wasn't just sitting around solely focused on being targeted by an angry leader of the House....unlike Nancy, who has accomplished very little good for the people of this country over two years except for sway political perception. After decades in the House, that's all she's good for. Playing political games and being the best big-dollar fundraising person the DNC has ever had.

So, when almost 200 countries in the world were trying to stockpile products, which are mainly manufactured in China (thanks to favorable trade deals we gave them along with our jobs since the 90's), China was not filling orders because they needed those products to stop their own epidemic.

Every country, including the U.S., has been scrambling for two months trying to essentially "hoard" as many supplies if they can get them....but there are not enough products in the world, literally, to meet demand for products and meet the needs of a global epidemic.

At least we shut down travel early to buy us some time to try to find or manufacture supplies before the curve really hits us in a week or two. It's too late for Italy and other European countries who couldn't get products and had the epidemic hit earlier because they kept open travel until too many people were dying. Germany is doing relatively well, since they are one of the world's largest suppliers of ventilators....but they, like China, are keeping all their supplies to save their own people. Bottom line: The supplies are not there to be bought, else we would have purchased them already.

So Trump was taking this as a serious issue, and Trump wasn't taking this as a serious issue?

You missed the part where she gets an extra $600 per week from unemployment, for up to 4 months, thanks to the Democrats.

Also, weeks? It took 4 extra days.

She's an incredibly vile, hateful, stupid and dangerous woman. House Democrats are responsible for her harm because her powerful position depends on their daily support.

3 weeks after her grandstanding in China Town, the Bay Area was under Shelter-In-Place orders.

3 weeks earlier she had hamstrung most of the Federal Government in her impeachment farce. The Entire Congress, the Executive Branch and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

Why Lying Schiff was holding forth with fabrications, like Trump was going to give Alaska to the Russians and leave Jared Kushner in charge of the nuclear football, the virus was quietly invading and laying the groundwork for all the dead now occurring.

Social Distancing: Hold the Line. ‘This virus is unforgiving to unwise choices.’

“You should perceive your entire family to function as a single individual unit: If one person puts themselves at risk, everyone in the unit is at risk. Seemingly small social chains get large and complex with alarming speed. If your son visits his girlfriend, and you later sneak over for coffee with a neighbor, your neighbor is now connected to the infected office worker that your son’s girlfriend’s mother shook hands with. This sounds silly, it’s not. This is not a joke or hypothetical. We as epidemiologists see it borne out in the data time and time again. Conversely, any break in that chain breaks disease transmission along that chain.”

Don't act as if this is graded on a curve: “At least I’m doing better than X.” The disease doesn’t care if you’re doing better, and you don’t get extra credit for trying. You either avoid it or you don’t.

From Jan 28 to Feb 2nd, 6 countries banned entry for all foreign nationals who had visited China in the past two weeks.

From Jan 28 to Feb 1st, 2 countries banned entry to all foreign nationals from Hubei, China.

From Jan 25th to Feb 2nd, 3 countries closed their visa offices in China.

HOWEVER, as of Jan 11th, 2020

    a. The Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), Co-Founder; Bill Gates' Foundation

    b. Moderna Inc., Main partner; Bill Gates' Foundation

    c. The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Trump's disease prevention Agency

COLLABORATED to develop Covid19's vaccine candidate

Question; Did a.b.c. believed said vaccine would never be used in the U.S.?

    Answer; I don't think so

Quoted by Dr. Fauci; "From obtaining Covid genetic sequence (Jan 11th) to Phase 1 trial, (within 42 days), was an "Indoor Record"

Therefore, as of Jan 11th, a.b.c. knew we had a serious threat, and IMO, the no-panic/no worries Trump also knew.

Question: From Jan 11th to Jan 31st, how many Americans and foreign nationals have travelled from Hubei Province to the United States?

Because you have become the epicentre of the global pandemic, our common borders are closed.

You will understand that Canada must protect itself from you.

Considering that we are your biggest economic partners and vice versa, the harmful effects are tenfold.

Otherwise, because we took the threat seriously at an early stage, and because we don't have a propagandist media whose sole objective is to maximize Trudeau's chances of re-election, Canadians are very well informed.

Moreover, unlike you, our government does not lie to us.

This is why the quarantine and social distancing regulations are strictly adhered to here.

    And it works.

The Trump administration is estimating 100,000 to 200,000 deaths if we do everything right. Meanwhile China had only 3,000 deaths and is opening back up. We really screwed this up. Airports were never closed, borders remained open for months, testing was delayed, we are only thinking about supplied now, Trump denied this was a problem even while Wuhan was under lockdown. Trump is going to be crucified in November.

Pelosi shouldn't be your first concern right now.

If you want my advice, you should focus your energy on Biden.

Because right now, in the midst of the worst crisis America's seen in 20 years, Trump's only getting 45% approval ratings.

He's really gonna need your help to make the non-Trumpsters believe that he's doing an amazing job despite the incredible number of sick and dead people.

Hopefully the lefties will also see the benefit of locked down borders. Keep them locked for months. I have a strange feeling the press will drop this story in mid November.
