    Tucker Rips MSNBC, Maddow for Blaming 'Disaster' in Venezuela on Trump


    As riots and protests continue in Venezuela, MSNBC's Rachel Maddow thinks she knows who's to blame for the socialist country's civil unrest: U.S. President Donald Trump.

    During a segment on her show Thursday, Maddow asserted that Venezuelans are "enraged" over an alleged donation from a subsidiary Venezuela’s state-run oil company to the Trump inauguration.

    "There have been weeks and weeks and weeks of rioting and violent protests,” Maddow said. “And now today, Venezuelans are enraged anew by this     brand-new FEC filing from the White House."

    “This is a country that should be a rich country, but people have literally been starving in Venezuela,” she continued. “Somehow in the midst of this incredible economic and political crisis in Venezuela, Venezuela’s state-run oil company somewhere found a half-million dollars to donate to the very, very, very inexplicably over-funded Trump inauguration.”

    On his show on Friday, Tucker Carlson was quick to point out that the Venezuelan people are actually upset about the poverty, lack of food and lack of rights under Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his socialist government.

    "There’s no toilet paper or meat there. The currency is worthless. The murder rate is perhaps the highest in the world. The Supreme Court has tried to abolish the entire legislature for daring to oppose the dictator who’s running the place into the ground,” Tucker said. “It’s a disaster in Venezuela."

    "So given all of this, who did MSNBC blame for the turmoil there? If you guessed Donald Trump, give yourself a million worthless Venezuelan Bolivars as a prize."

    Of course. It's not the catastrophically asinine policies of leftist "darling" despot Hugo Chaves, carried on through his successor that are the cause of this...it was TRUMP'S INAUGURATION.

    Just when it appeared the frothy-mouthed left couldn't get anymore ridiculous...

    I voiced my opinion on tucker on another thread and caught some flames for it, however tucker has my permission to rip Maddow a new one, every day.

    This is funny because the last I heard it was the Clinton donors who were pissed and wanted their money back. But that Maddow, he's a funny guy.

    Well the Venezuela government did do one thing right. They disarmed the populace before the SHTF Can you imagine the chaos if the general public were able to fight back in any meaningful manner. Oh the horrors!!!!

    Yeah, that's what the starving Venezuelans are rioting over...not the complet collapse of the economy due to their asinine leftist leadership. It's Trump, and $500,000 they know nothing about, but, apparently, according to Madcow, would've saved their nation.

    Haven't seen the video yet but the quote in the article doesn't say that's what caused the riots just that it pissed them off further

    And clearly Tucker is a perfect example of a stupid con artist. Unlike Tucker, a discredited and dishonest Rush wannabe, Maddow is a Rhodes Scholar who earned her doctorate degree from Oxford. As usual, Tucker the moron, misled the dumb-dumbs who actually watch that incoherent mess of a tv show. Maddow merely reported the scandal in Venezuela regarding the donation to Trump inauguration in order to gain access: Pay to Play. She did not blame Trump for the problems
    happening in Venezuela.
