You mean TV is for morons? Meh, close enough. TV programming is first about selling things, second about propaganda and third about social control, with entertainment only being important insofar as it maintains sufficient attention to achieve the first 3 at a successful level. I had my cable turned off about 10 years ago and I don't miss it one little bit. But I do watch some of the stuff that's also shown on cable via streaming services, so I guess that makes me somewhat of a moron...
