So we've been watching this new show on FX "An American Horror Story". It's like WAY creepy and very coolio!
My wife will not sit anywhere but RIGHT next to me while it's on. What's cool is that thus far, it's not typical or predictible.

    Iiiiii LIKE it!

It's sort of like the Amityville Horror meets The Shining and hell, who knows what else?
Evil house with evil energy, ghosts, creepy real people all kinds of weird juju... But it's well done!

Sounds kinda scary. Is it a reality TV show?

Just my 2 cents, but ALL American TV, cable, dish or broadcast is a horror show. 90% is mindless drivel.

No. Regular series. We have a hard time finding shows we like. We liked Kings and of course, they canceled it.
This show is not formulaic by any means. A refreshing changes from most of what is out there.

It terms of pure spookiness, Walking Dead is far superior. This seems to Stephen Kingish.

    I love this show...

I was getting ready to start a thread on this...

It's pretty creepy, and the characters are really cool...

AND, as far as I can tell, the family still doesn't know the house is haunted...

I can't wait for next week...

Oh yes, Walking Dead is awesome too...

    I'm also a zombie nerd...

Between Walking Dead, American Horror Story, Dexter, & Homeland, I've got my hands full with TV shows this fall...

Homeland's only 3 episodes in, plus they're showing a "marathon" of sorts on Showtime tomorrow, so you can still catch up before episode 4...

Dexter, on the other hand, is in season 6...

But, once you start watching with season 1, you won't wanna stop...

    That much I promise you...

It is one of the best shows I have ever seen...

    Also, on Showtime...

You've got 5 seasons to catch up on, and, honestly, by the time you finish those, season 6 will prolly be over, but, you'll be more than ready for season 7 once you've watched them all...

    Do yourself those favors...

It's a great show. It's interesting to figure out the backstory, to figure out why all those other "people" are in the house. The more psychological part is engaging too. You have this family trying to put the pieces back together and the house won't let them. I can just see it all fall apart, especially after the most recent episode (for those following it).

That guy (the actor I mean) has been a bunch of things and has been great in all of them. He's just one of those guys with a long resume and a name you don't know.
