Well ... as the saying goes: Anyone sitting in a glass house shouldn't throw stones at others outside. Fighting fake news does notmean to fight fake news I don't like or which I rate as fake news ... it means all fake news! Such a neutral link is totally OK and a great idea, because everyone is now free to check out if believing the content of the tweet or the counter facts. On the other hand, as usual, Trump's fan base doesn't care about facts. As always, they believe their leader in anything and everything without turning their brains on themselves ... and even if Trump claims the math is wrong and 1 + 1 is 11 and not 2, they believe Trump, ignore this thing or try it's nice to talk and justify why Trump claims it and everything is not bad ... or try to distract from the topic. Conclusion: It is time to do bright blue hats with the white inscription "Make America Great Again" or MAGA for short ... because Twitter is really making America great again with this legitimate and legally legal link to fact check!

So, Trump cant claim there will be voter fraud from mail in ballots, yet the NYT can write a story about how they believe Trump will lie, cheat and steal the election in Nov. Why wouldn't Trump just stuff the mail in ballots since the left has zero worry that would even happen?
Ehm ... wasn't it Trump who declared war against Fake News, eh? Wasn't it Trump who wanted to stop this on media and social media, eh? So why does he claim again and again such BS and spreads fake news like mad please? Sorry, this is called in football (soccer) an own goal, because it hits him the butt that he is the worst fake news spreader in the USA! But most of all, it is not a form of any kind of censorship that attacks your oh so sacred constitutional right to unlimited free speech ... does not even begin to attack! His tweet with his lie about mail voting can be read further and underneath is a link to the fact check, where the truth is. Whoever believes him or the fact check is a personal matter.
My point is, how can you fact check something that hasn't happened? But also, if he gets fact checked for a speculation, how is it that NYT cant get fact checked for their latest speculation which is exactly the same story they published in 2016 and 2017. IDGAS about Trump or the DNC really, I am not part of either tribe. Just trying to get some balance from those who claim to be unbiased.
What did not happen? That Trump did not post this mental garbage about mail-voting? My point is that Trump has told and written by Tweet so much proven nonsense, half truth, pure lies and Fake News ... that I can always laugh and puke about his accusing against media and journalists he does not like that they spread fake news. Sure, I know of course that much media in the USA ... and also in nearly every other country on this planet are often enough rubbish ... But when Trump makes such an accusation, it is like one proven fraudster accusing another proven fraudster of cheating him. And in recent years it was Mr. Donald Trump himself who never tired of indicting the sheer volume of fake news in the election campaign at the time and advocating censorship against the spread of fake news. Funny if it hits himself like now!
Fact checking =/= "he can't claim it". He can claim it. He did claim it. Adding a link doesn't mean he wasn't able to claim it. He also made a false claim about what California was doing with their ballots.
They "fact checked" with an OPINION ARTICLE that NEVER mentions anything about what twitter claims Trump mislead people about. The CNN article NEVER mentions anything about how CA voters need to register before they get a ballot.
Fraud with mail in ballots has been proven like a million times already. You guys are gonna have to EARN the election if you want to win.

People will cheat at anything. So he can find examples, just not enough of them to be worth getting excited over. Republicans loved mail in voting when it helped them. Now that Seniors have had it with Trump (who votes by mail) it's suddenly a crisis. But the real crisis is all that failure dragging the country down.
