    U.N: “Gaza Siege, Collective Punishment”

It's sad how Israel's UN envoy doesn't care about the suffering of Palestinians, nonetheless acknowledge it.

Everyone with half a brain knows this. You don't ban pasta, oil, reading books and shoes and claim it wasn't collective punishment.

I have said this several times on this forum... First of all the Palmer report only said that the NAVAL blockade on Gaza was legal. Secondly, it was not an official statement on the issue and was not binding in any legal sense. We already had an official statement on the issue by the UN Human Rights Council which concluded that Israel’s interception of the flotilla was illegal because the blockade was unjustified stating: "the Mission is satisfied that the blockade was inflicting disproportionate damage upon the civilian population in the Gaza strip and that as such the interception could not be justified and therefore has to be considered illegal."

The blockade is a violation against humanity, imo.

That's probably why many Zionists frequently argue that such blockades are undesirable acts of war for being "acts of aggression"

It should be explained that Israel has a well known list of "acts of agression" it would consider as a declaration of war to which it would respond with force. This list included any blockade of the Straits of Tiran, the water way that leads into Eilat, Israel's only port to the Red Sea and the place most of the oil imported into Israel was recieved.

Correct- but neoZionists consider the law to be an existential threat. Zionism is criminal by default.
