We have 18,600 border patrol agents supposedly protecting our southern border as well as drones and other electronic protection devices. Are you saying they are all sitting on their asses watching illegals stream in????? If that is the case then we might as well fire them all.

Only under our current economic system which demands infinite growth and infinite profits. That is the only way it works. The entire system needs to be rethought, with profits not being part of the equation. A system that requires infinite growth can not work on a planet with finite space and resources. We are nearing the brink of where such a system can function.

if business is not necessary and sustainable it SHOULD die. the earth, and its resources are finite. growth can not be sustained. .

Not at all. There are alternatives to the capitalist/socialist slider. What needs to change is goals. When profit and "more stuff" is replaced by happiness and quality of life, I think we will find the world to be a better place. A system where the only goal is to grow the economy, which it must to survive, is doomed to fail on a finite planet with finite resources. Its just math.

Amazing that people still panic over a false "overpopulation" crisis they were taught as children. World population levels are headed in the OTHER direction. Relax.

Meanwhile in the real world, countries and societies will make gradual adjustments to changing population levels without the "help" of little fantasies.

Population levels may be slowing in growth, but energy usage is constantly increasing. By 2050 the amount of energy we use is projected to double. That is insane.

LOL! Some people get so used to being in a panic all the time, they cannot live without it.

It has taken all of human history to reach the levels of energy consumption we have now, and it is expected to double in 28 years. And its not going to stop there. If that does catch your attention, your head is so far up your ass that there is no hope for you. Luckily, most of humanity is waking up to the fact that there is a cliff we are walking towards, and are becoming more open to solutions. You however, appear not to be.

    LOL!!!

And we have never had cleaner forms of energy nor more ways of generating it. This too will continue to improve and proliferate. Calm down.

Oh, I have no doubts it will be solved. But there will be changes made to we live our lives. And I believe that all of humanity will be much better off for it. It is your "business as usual" idea that is not going to work. I don't think humanity has ever had a brighter outlook, thanks to the changes that are in the works.

Our lives will only become more convenient, no matter how much you think humanity deserves to suffer so you can justify your endless panic.

What are you talking about? I think humanity will be set free from the changes. You seem to be the one that wants things to stay how they are now.

According to CBP, they apprehended and deported more people in 2021 than ever before, and its not even close, and they are still at it. They threw back 800 000 illegals in past 5 months alone. Could that be why the population growth is slowing?

You won't hear that in FOX though.
