Just my two cents... I suspect that there are and likely have always been others on this world. in history, these likely were who the ancient societies revered. It's hard to dismiss the evidence of historic evidence of technology that couldn't have existed if the tool set of bronze age and older are demonstrably unable to explain how these artifacts came to be. There are lots of examples. The neolithic structures around the globe, examples of advanced cutting and shaping tools that predate 1st empire Egypt. etc.

There has been a huge amount of power ascribed to those who profess the holiness of their messaging, institutions built on these ideas, and control. It's intoxicating professing the ability to "word of God" for example. And yet, if you read these ancient stories, mankind seems "wired" to be devotional. I suppose that if I had created a slave labor force half a million years ago, I'd want them compliant and if you can be genetically manipulated to do that, so much the better.

I expect that this is antithetical to a lot of folks who believe deeply in the religions that they hold so dear. I, personally, do also believe there is a god. The evidence seems to lead me to that conclusion. This were designed, made, and we are a product of that.

I also expect that there are legions of other similar experiments all throughout the universe. Why wouldn't there be?

There are a lot of options to choose from here. None of them exempt extra terrestrial life. So why be so shocked

I cannot guess the future, but if folks in power believe that destroying the foundation of religion is what's necessary for them to become the authoritarians they desire to become, likely more of this is in our immediate future.

What makes you say that? Science tells us belief in UFOs/aliens is often driven by a search for meaning to life. It’s very possible that’s what is motivating the military dude.

Do you think the pilots were lying about what they saw with their own eyes and were picked up by multiple sensors? If not, then we need to figure out what that is, and if it is our tech, then Congress at least needs to know.

I also think that if this was about our tech, it would not have gotten to the point of congressional hearings.

Physics might not work how we think it does, and there very well could be some way a biological creature could create all sorts of funky effects if it could manipulate basically any of the forces we freely admit we don't understand and simply theorize must exist.

Think of the idea of magic. If an unknowable by conventional physics type force existed that could do what we conceive of magic doing, wiping minds, glamouring things to appear or seem something they aren't, concealment etc.

2) He saw something he misinterpreted and has extrapolated things that aren't real IE he found some black programs and thinks its aliens but its just bio weapons and nukes and funding cartels and ****.

4) He's co-operating in a psy op for any of various purposes I could speculate about A) for normal media distraction; B) to distract from some coming event; C) to psych out the Russians and Chinese and waste their intel resources faffing about.

Any of those are perfectly reasonable explanations why he might do this when the truth is not as represented.

Your 1, 2, and 3 are impossible given the conditions of serving in the military, being subjected to rigorous training which is required in order to make rank, and being under constant observation and testing.

Given the corroboration by numerous other ex-military personnel with their own experience, some of whom approached a craft on the ground, touched it, and copied down designs (“letters”) found on it, and photographed it, # 3 and 4 are also out.

You know, given the acceleration of reports and the government releasing records, I think all this UFO stuff is going to go fully public before long. And once that happens, any aliens present will show themselves and all will be known. There will be no more of this mystery business. That’s what I think.

I have no way of determining if the pilot is lying or not. I have no way of determining if the military put the pilots up to it for some reason. Could all be true. Could all be false.

I’m a science guy. If you want my attention give me the specifications and exact capabilities of these “sensors”. Give me access to the history of malfunctions of the units and logs of “fixes”. People can claim all kinds of things. Show me real evidence.

I’m open to evidence. Evidence of extraterrestrials is virtually nonexistent. It’s going to take more than this to convince me. Whistleblower claims are just that. Claims. Give me evidence.

My post was an attempt to get folks who want to believe in extraterrestrials to examine why they have such tendencies. That’s the interesting phenomenon to me.

 

Well, it looks like I'm not the only person who finds your thread interesting.

I, also think that we are not alone in this universe and would not be at all surprised to find that our government has UFO / UAP pieces and parts stashed away somewhere.

As you mentioned, claiming that you've seen UFOs / UAPs is far from a guaranteed career maker so I don't believe that the whistleblowers are just trying to get attention or are delusional.

Since our government seems unwilling to produce more information, I suppose we'll just have to wait until more information is forthcoming or there is a more spectacular UFO show.

You are too worried about the conclusion.

This isn't a Aliens= yes or no situiation.

There is either advanced technology out there that is world changing, or the government is running an elaborate psyop on the public.

This isn't something we are going to get an answer on in the next week or two.

We should all just be pushing and supporting Congress trying to get to the bottom of what is going on, and not arguing about whether or not Aliens are real.

If the Navy put the pilots up to it, then we really need to get to the bottom of what is going on.
