There are undeniable incidents, involving several fighter jet pilots and radar signals, like this one in Brazil in 1986, confirmed by their government in the person of one of their ministers, and with extensive testimony from pilots, radar operators, and people on the ground. Military jets scrambled to meet the objects, chased them for three freaking hours, and did meet them, with one of the jets being surrounded by the objects. There were 21 UFOs in this incident. With multiple radars pinging the objects too, this is kind of VERY hard to explain. So, no drones existed at the time... and even today's drones wouldn't be able to engage in a chase with fighter jets... so what exactly were these??? No atmospheric phenomenon given that the fighter jets did meet the objects.

    https://www.inquisitr.com/4309027/brazil-night-of-ufos/

Given that no human technology seemed to exist at the time able to behave this way, and given the undeniable existence of these objects (again, multiple sightings by reliable people including fighter jet pilots, multiple radar pings), it is hard not to think of the ET explanation.

Some people here said, why would advanced ETs want to visit us, this warrying primitive species? I don't think, if ETs do exist and do indeed visit us, that we can speak with any degree of certainty of their motivations and behaviors. Multiple explanations for the lack of contact are possible. For example, maybe they do find us primitive and bellicose... which may be precisely the reason for no contact (as they'd be afraid that we'd shoot first and ask questions later, so to speak). Maybe they are only interested in studying us from a distance but are not interested in making contact, for whatever cultural reason of their own - could be as simple as a non-interference desire, or any other reason). Maybe they are so different, so, well, alien, that meaningful communication exchange is too difficult and not worth the effort. Maybe what they sent to us are unmanned (or un-ET-ed, LOL) probes that are not designed for contact. Maybe they've tried to hail us but their way of doing it (say, using some sort of wave that our physics don't even know about) was not detected by us. And so on and so forth, any number of possible explanations.

And the idea that they wouldn't be curious about us because we're bellicose and primitive??? Why? If we found life in another planet, even if not intelligent (say, some very hostile beasts that operated with a kill-kill-kill predatory instinct), we'd still want to study that ecosystem, no?

So, this kind of talk doesn't dissuade me from *considering* (among others) the explanation that legitimate UFO sightings like the one by the Brazilian Air Force I linked to above, are indeed caused by the presence of extraterrestrial craft.

This assumes there has been a lack of contact. A great many people claim contact. There are some cases that are quite striking such as the Ariel School incident. In this event, a couple of dozen children claimed a direct encounter. Decades later they still stick to their stories.

ETs seemingly have made a point to engage military jets and toy with them. That is another form of contact. And of course there are those, such as former Astronaut Edgar Mitchell, who claimed that some in the US government and private industry have been in contact with ETs for decades.

If ET is here, we certainly cant dismiss all claims of encounters as hoaxes or cases of mental illness. Some people today, and even history suggests that ET has been contacting humans for thousand of years.

Another event that has often struck me as a potential ET event is known as the "miracle of the sun", which was predicted by three children who claimed an encounter with Mary, the mother of Christ from the Bible. Below is an actual photo of the crowd that witnessed the alleged events.

This was even witnessed by people miles away from the main site.

Perhaps they didn't see the sun dancing in the sky. Rather they saw a UFO dancing in the sky.

And of course one has to wonder what kind of balloon or blimp could survive skies filled with molten metal, as 1400 anti-aircraft rounds were fired at the object flying over the Los Angeles area at around 1 mph.

In 1952, UFOs appeared over Washington DC in what was taken as a potential threat to the White House. Military jets responded.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1952_Washington,_D.C._UFO_incident

In the documentary below, that event and other from those days are discussed in detail, as seen through the eyes of Al Chop, a reporter who served as press liaison for the Pentagon during its investigation of UFO's from 1947 to the early 1950s.

But where are we? It seems to me that we're still in the observer stage. In the observer stage we have come up with much speculation as to what these images are. How do we move beyond the observer stage, and the speculation stage? First we must ask ourselves if they can be studied beyond the observer stage. We can't touch them or cominicate with them unlike other things we study. Also they never stay in one place long enough to view with a powerful telescope. We have to face facts that UFOs are vastly unlike anything we study. So what is the blueprint for studying them especially if they don't want to be studied. Since these things move in a way beyond what our science can explain if these unidentified entities chose not to be scrutinized or change their behavior in a way more reconizable to us the whole thing is moot.

This is only true if you ignore all of the alleged contactees going back thousands of years.

Generally, not denying they exist is a start.

Well, if you're waiting for ETs to leave their craft parked on your lawn & unattended, so you can touch it, before you'll believe it's real, you're going to have a long wait. But it's understandable that, for many people, this idea too greatly upsets their beliefs & conceptions for them to accept it without a great struggle, so you will, no doubt, not be alone with your fantastic ball lightning theory.

Ball lightning is about as well understood, by the way, as ETs. It is a very rare occurrence, according to science, and has only been studied as artificially-created, in the lab. But even in nature, according to the Britannica link, below, it is nowhere near the size to be mistaken for many of the UFOs that have been recorded, including a couple of these most recent, military examples, and it only lasts a few seconds, which would also rule it out, in many cases. Oh, and it is associated with thunderstorms, which are not usually taking place when UFOs are observed. And we would have to believe that in the thousands of sightings, by highly-trained military pilots, they have all mistaken ball lightning for UFOs. And that ball lightning can be tracked on radar.
But you go with that, for as long as you can.

This statement is deliberatly vague and so far you're just slingin B.S. You havn't responded to my post in the least let me know when you decide to resond honestly and with more detail.

We might already be at the next step, which is to study materials from UFOs/UAPs, both flying and crashed, to see what they're made of. See: Bigelow Aerospace.

And the next step is communicating with the UFOs or at least buzzing them from a distance with our aircraft to send the message that they are unwanted in restricted air space.

Then you don't know the first thing about the subject. If you want knowledge it requires effort and not just jibber jabber on PF.

But I will leave you to jibber jabber away...

Okay, once more for the cheap seats:

In post #42 you concluded that there really hasn't been any concrete evidence pointing to UFO's being under extra-terrestrial control. I responded by pointing to the Roswell incident, where an air force intelligence officer in charge reported a UFO crash with a debris field that was collected. It was reported to the local papers, which went national. Soon after, higher ups in the military took over, forced the officer to put out a retraction story, post a replacement photo, and claim the old "weather balloon" scenario. Any and all material was whisked away and classified, all locals involved sworn (or threatened) into secrecy. Only 20 and 30 years later did retired personnel and surviving family members come forth to tell a different tale.

Now ask yourself this: If such phenomena like I listed in post #19 are NOT extra -terrestrial/inter-dimensional in nature, the inevitable conclusion is that they would be man made. If that is indeed the case, then WTF is the world still hand wringing out nuclear missiles? For nearly a century, the UFO's have demonstrated the capability of out flying any plane, rocket or missile that has been and is now used by the world's military. These UFO's would have no problem in shooting down any ICBM, so why haven't we had the owners of said technology reveal themselves and set the world straight as to who is the big boy on the block? Who would be able to stop them?

Remember, my references are of MILITARY DOCUMENTATION that contradicts military statements that won't concede extra-terrestrial, but can't give any other rational explanation. Just because one person doesn't know isn't indicative of everyone involved.

So if you are as knowledgable as you claim, I shouldn't have to spell things out for you again, as you should be able to understand the reference points given....and as the chronology of the posts shows, I don't "put words in" your mouth. When you make false claims, you just insert your own foot there. Carry on.

Doubling down on your assertion doesn't make it any more sound or less moronic. The reason why Roswell is a perfect example of how absurd your ramblings are is that the "official" story was a clandestine weather balloon test. Now the air force intelligence officer and his staff were well aware of the difference between weather balloon tech and the strange alloys in the debris field they surveyed. Also, why classify alleged "technology" decades after the fact, since such technology would be outdated and useless? Hell, even the FBI declassified files in 2011 on the subject contradict themselves, with redacted names of military officials related reports of recovered alien bodies while the "official" story is the old weather balloon garbage.

No one spins quite like a government hiding secrets from the public....or willfully ignorant sycophants with delusions of intelligence supporting the official smoke screen. Hell, just look at recent events regarding Tillman and the first Gulf War, the invasion of Iraq based on a lie, Ronnie Raygun sealing away information on the Kennedy assassination for an additional 39 years. I could go on, but hopefully you get the point (or in your case, deny it with repeating the SOS).

To date, you can't logically or factually debunk what I posted in #19 on this thread. Pointing to the official "we don't know" story just doesn't cut it (for those who learned "critical thinking" in school). Carry on.

In the meantime, a LOT of observations. But then again, you've have decades of reports from around the globe regarding abductions and such....some down right malevolent. Live stock mutilations, reports of under water or Arctic "bases". A whole lotta stuff that needs only a few disproved claims for the nay sayers to dismiss everything. Yet, there's the stuff I and others posted that can't be pushed away so easily. And the band played on.

Blah Blah Blah. We might be at the next step means nothing. The word might tells me that you haven't a clue as to what you're talking about and no proof what-so-ever that the materials you're refering to were created beyond this planet. From that point you rediculously talk about buzzing unidentified objects who's aerial movements are byond what we call physics.

But the fact that you can't respond to it in any intellegent way proves that you are surely out of your depth and incapable of reasoned rational thinking.

    1. A childish and irrational retort on your part. If what you say is true, then what does that say about YOU, who seems to spend an awful amount of time and effort to respond and attempt to refute what I post, as the chronology of the posts shows you just avoid any and all points with abject denial and generalized avoidance?

    2. Yes, you do tend to ramble. You keep asserting that you're claiming something, yet as the chronology of the posts shows when I systematically deconstruct your "claims" you just keep parroting the same old dodge and bluff as you do here. So far, you don't debate, you just blow smoke instead of conceding a point as most mature adults do.

Once I've exposed folk like you who bluff and bluster instead of honestly debating a point, I just dump you in the IA bin. Saves me and the readers wasting time and space on such blather. Carry on.
