UK Woman Jailed Over 'Racist' Rant

A woman tells it like it is, and because she is white she is charged with a crime. She is also receiving death threats from a bunch of "tolerant" leftists and non-whites, but no word of any charges being filed against any of those people.

Unfortunately, the majority of the Brits have become sissies. What a shame, that a once great society of folks with real mettle have now all become as noodle spines and limp wrists. Much of Europe is just as wussified. Canada is quickly becoming just as lame.

 

They are overly concerned about muti-culturalism.

If Americans were smart --- OK , I am being silly --- they would keep their big mouths firmly shut and so start the haul back to tolerance and decency .
First , this woman clearly has mental health problems . Don't demean yourself my using such a person to underwrite your scum bag beliefs .
Second , in the UK it is an imprisonable belief to spout racially inspired trash .
The British are far from being Cissies , as one of the idiots remarked here . Rather , they have re- evaluated their identity and choose to become racially tolerant and compassionate .

The woman clearly had had enough, and decided to unload. But that she then ends up charged with a crime is indicative of the surrender that has become Britain. And Europe.

I think you miss the point here.

The police ARRESTED this woman for exercising her right to free speech.

Only in a police state are the authorities able to get away with that.

 

Governments that can jail you for offensive opinions, also have the power to determine what is offensive.

Sadly, American progressives look to the Eurozone for architectual guidance in constructing their utilitarian dysto....er...utopia.

Are people really defending someone who literally says 'you ain't british, you're black'.

She's been charged for racially aggravated public order offences, she hasn't been jailed.

There are questions over freedom of speech that can be legitimately discussed, personally I think there probably should be some form of punishment for racial abuse.

Freedom of speech in a free society depends on being able to say things that others may not like.

Considering how impotent the Democratic Party was in attempting to pass a socialized healthcare system, I don't think you have much to worry about them trying to restrict freedom of speech.

I'm pretty sure that Americans will always be more conservative than Europeans. Our individualism and religiousness ensures that.

Now, we might become more liberal socially as compared to Europe if Europe becomes heavily Islamic in the future, but that's another discussion.

I'd have to agree if this results in Islamism running things there. I don't think it's going to happen though.

Over time, most Muslims in the West tend to become more moderate and less religious.
