    I've only seen one of the Trump supporters post that he was disgusted by what Trump said. The rest of them have their noses too far up Trump's rear end to weigh in on it. They are on here pretending to be patriots, yet except for that one, none of them had a problem with Trump denigrating and insulting POWs.

    Regarding the Polish workers... Stop believing fake news. Trump hired a contractor and that contractor hired the illegal Polish unbeknownst to Trump.

    "Sometime between 1979 and 1980, Trump hired a contractor to demolish an old building in midtown Manhattan to make way for Trump Tower. The contractor signed on workers from a local union and, to meet Trump’s tight deadline, also brought on 200 undocumented laborers from Poland dubbed the "Polish Brigade."

    The fact the YOU feel that being a patriot and loving your country makes you a vag means YOU need to stop being a snowflake. These people protesting are claiming that they are protesting an unhappiness in their country, meaning they don't like their country and they want America to change for them and it's never going to happen. Still too many blue collar middle class workers out there to start changing the country to satisfy a small crowd that refuses to adapt.

    It was either settle or let it drag out in the court system and spend more and more money. I would have settled just to shut the whiny mouths up, too. Trump owned the complex, he didn't work there.

    No, what I said is that if YOU feel that someone is disrespecting their country and symbolically defecating on the graves of fallen soldiers by quietly and respectfully kneeling during the national anthem then you are a p-word (you fill in the blank). I mean come on already! Those guys have already said why they are kneeling and what they mean to convey. YOU don't get to change the message to something it's not (<southpark commoner>they hate er country<southpark commoner/>) just because YOU don't agree with how they are going about it.

    Ratings are hurting the NFL pretty bad.

    "The protests by NFL players during the National Anthem have been hurtingthe league's television ratings since last year.

    This season, as the protests have continued, the television ratings and ramifications for broadcasters have worsened.

    More bad news for the NFL: an analyst for Credit Suisse yesterday downgraded his price and earnings per share targets for 21st Century Fox in part due to NFL ratings that are coming in below market expectations.

    "We trim our 2018/19 EPS forecasts … ahead of Q1 earnings," analyst Omar Sheikh wrote in a note to clients Thursday. "The key near term headwinds are soft NFL ratings and the risk that the Sky transaction is blocked by UK regulators."

    The downgrade comes at a time when the NFL is negotiating two important distribution deals that end after this season: Verizon's $250 million a year streaming agreement and the $450 million a year Thursday Night Football deal for games shared by CBS and NBC.


    Through five weeks, the league's ratings are substantially lower this season, according to Nielsen data obtained by Sporting News.    "

    I don’t disagree. I’ll also take players words that they believe it’s a systemic problem. Kap doesn’t strike me as a Mensa card carrier, he may well think it’s a real issue. The point is that no one is taking the stance that they hate the country and certainly not the men who gave all so that we could be having this conversation at all.
