In newspeak the US is always the "peacemaker" by definition even as it's undermining peace accords and escalating terror:
"Peace" enforcer would be the closest description right now with the understanding that by peace I really mean pro-business democracy based on western values.
Based on Western rules, not values. Nothing to do with functioning democracy. Top down forms of democracy in which elites linked to the United States rule is as far as Washington wants it to go within its dependencies. That's what the National Endowment for Democracy and free trade pacts are for- limiting the threat of democracy. None of the US backed dictatorships have "western values" and Washington is not enforcing peace in Israel. They are supporting the opposite. Television.
