Why? The left has given up on even trying to keep up with the list of “extraordinary moves” (articles choice of words, not mine) and the right ignores or cheers it. The same people irate that a felon cannot burn a flag in front of a bar while threatening its patrons (defending it as free speech) will be silent that two people were just arrested for having an adult consensual relationship... But then again it is still illegal in parts of the US — although unconstitutional.
Is that what happened or was he recalled in disgust at Zambia's policies? Hard to tell from the article but it seemed like the latter to me.
Im not am ambassador, so maybe I don't know what their job is sposed to be, but I thought it was to facilitate a cooperative political relationship between their home country and their host country. Not try to make the host country embrace American values...
