I disagree. The few times that I was able to work from home, I got more done in one day than in three days at the office, with constant interruptions and too many socializing opportunities. Maybe that's just me.

Not what he inherited. Over the years.

    C'mon---you can do it!

This probably belongs in the Conspiracy Theory forum, but I suspect that COVID was the Chinese government loosing a powerful virus that would kill mostly old people. They cared not a whit for collateral damage all over the world. They were just trying to find a way to reduce the elder population. I know that sounds macabre, but I wouldn't put it past them.

No it isn't. It's paid for by the government, and with the Chinese boomer population being massive, that's a heavy burden. See my "kill all the old people" conspiracy theory in #103. :)

the irony of that would be that covid is what allowed the West to grow the balls to start divesting from China. Now that the train is in motion, there isn't any stopping it. China is going to have a rough 15 years coming up.

? Q2 2017 when Trump took office was 2% and the prior Qtr to that was another paltry 1.7%. Are you sure you want to hang your hat there?

Really? So, it's my fault that the prices of everything have gone up, even doubled, to the point where I've been forced to use my Visa card to buy food? Good to know.

Is it only 50%? I often feel, after a day of running errands and dealing with John Q. Public, that it's closer to 75%. Maybe that's just me ...

Bullshit. It's Trump who has said he loves the poorly educated. That said, education and intelligence are two different things ... I know a lot of morons with college degrees.

You have to pass a test to get a license to drive a car, but the Constitution prevents us from requiring would-be voters to pass any kind of test. If we could require a specific degree of knowledge before registering someone to vote, Trump would never have been elected.

We are. That's just a mathematical fact. Arrogance has nothing to do with it.

No it’s not. An increase of 2% is still going up.

Little bit of a dance to get here, bu glad you finally agree that when Biden said he cut the deficit, he merely lowered the rate of increase so he didn't lower jack dick!

Yes the deficit cannot be lowered if the budget isn’t balanced. Remind me the one president who did this since 1973?

Doesn't matter what Trump says or doesn't say. Fact is, democrats cater to the uneducated, you know, those people who want to vote but don't even have ID's.

And I generally find myself center right. One of my biggest regrets was voting Bush jr. for his second term.
