Had nothing to do with communists coming into power. It has been a slow erosion for decades. Was bad during the Bush Era ... even worse during Obama .. now its a nightmare.

Was in 2013 that Obama made it legal for our intelligence agencies to create and disseminate propaganda on the public. Not that the intelligence agencies were not doing this prior to 2013 - just now it is "State Sanctioned". Orwellian doublespeak - The Ministry of Truth is where they created propaganda.

Interesting you think I'm talking about the the top levels of the executive branch, I'm not. Im talking about the bureaucracy.
I'm talking about the media, I'm talking about organizations like the NEA, media matters, planned parenthood and a thousand other leftist causes. Everyone inspired by the anti establishment movement of the 1960, thoes inspired by Saul Alinski snd the weather underground.
Evil rotten commie bastards all of them.

I had no idea what levels of power you were referring to when you used the term communists. The bureaucracy is a big part of the Establishment for sure.

I was talking about the media - and there are numerous others that we could list. The problem is that you are overly focused on the Left when this is not a left vs right issue. The Establishment is both the left and the right. The idea that the right is the "good guys" and the left if the "bad guys" in attacking the founding principles you are woefully mistaken. Both are the bad guys - they just come from different sides of the fence.

I liked Eador's response to you:

Is the Chinese Regime "Thuggish" ? -- You Bet it is ! -

Any regime that seeks to impose upon their Citizens, - a Social Credit Rating based
on Government precepts and thereby reward or constrain those citizens, any such
Government is a Repulsive Tyranny based.on GOON THUGGERY and coercion.
Its leaders need to be strung-upside down from lamp posts and have their throats cut

    Now Chinese Thuggery
as measured against American Goonery might in an interesting Intellectual exercise
    ....................................................................................................of Contrast & Comparison :)

the social credit is bit overkill, but we also have financial credit score in US. as for china, its mainly to get rid of many chinese bad behavior such as jay walking, hit & run, talking on phone while driving, no seat belt, drunk & drive, debt, pee on the street, trash throwing, dont stop at stop sign etc. China get alot bad rep as rowdy tourists etc over the years, they try to change that, forcefully if necessary.

something like this, happen often in china, where individual stop train cause they are late or dont want go through security check, smoke in non-smoke area, throwing quarter for luck in the jet engine intake etc.

The video is funny, but I think your reply is funny too. Don't you know you are toeing the China line?
Of course the govt would say they are watching for spitters and drunks - that's a bonus for watching
    upon political dissent.

political dissent is very very very small minority, and often online advocate, not worth the $$$ to install infrastructure over them, and china know who/where the dissent are. the camera in public place are used to monitor rowdy/bad behavior/bad manner peoples. the infrastructure is same as big cities such as london, camera everywhere. do some research you understand why they did it. also china track dissent via online political activity not through its camera system. and yes you can criticize CCP in public such as group of friend in restaurant etc as long it doesn't get too big.
