    ...So you head has been in the sand since the 1970's?

    Because that is when local and state law enforcement agencies started using helicopters for surveillance and patrol purposes.

    I thought the Hunter was getting decommissioned? Even the Shadow 200 UAV is getting changed.

    They also need to get regulations and provisions on UAV flight within US airspace. They have some, but not enough and I know they are working on them right now.

    I know that most of the conservatives here are belatedly worried about how government will use drones.

    That's demonstratively bad enough, but I'm just as worried, or even more worried about the corporations.

    Always wanted to shoulder a 10 GA. But........if it is at 30,000 ft no hit confirmed. Not to say we can't have fun trying.
