What beauties have attracted Your Majesty Emperor Algirdas to the Vietnamese jungles to feed your royal blood to mosquitoes and leeches instead of undertaking the urgent task of liberating your miserable people from the Russian yoke?

If Your Majesty is seeking excitement in the Vietnamese jungles because you find life boring under the Russian annexation of your Duchy Land, I wish I could humour you with the following "poem" of mine.

    Vietnam! Vietnam! burning bright
In the middle of the night,
    What brainless mind
Could leave such bloody mass behind?

    What ruthless hand
Could light the fire of thy land
And turn it into a funeral pyre?
What the hand dare light the fire?

    What instigation, and what order,
Could create such lawlessness and disorder?
And when thy ruthless heart began to beat,
What burning fire? and what searing heat?

What the hammer? what the sickle?
Could make thy mind so fickle?
    What evil? what brain dead
Could encourage thy deadly terrors to spread?

When thy people spread fear and terror,
It's time to rectify your error,
Is thy heart being taken over by greed
    That makes thy land bleed?

    Vietnam! Vietnam! burning bright
In the middle of the night,
    What brainless mind
Could leave such bloody mass behind?

Well obviously the irony of it all of them burning down a bunch of factory not owned by the Chinese no? not to mention that if this cause a mass exodus of capital from Vietnam, those looters will most likely have to work abroad in the very countries those factories were from.
    :alcoholic:

Regardless of the Situation in the South China Sea, these events are basically Vietnam shooting itself in the foot, with exist of capitals, it is likely to become either really weak or really reliant on China, either way making them more unlikely to achieve their political goal.

Though another side aspect of this, since the government's official stance seem to be against the riots, is that the Communist Party in Vietnam is losing it's grip on power faster than most of us seem to assume.

Once the people of the Duchy Land get hold of their traitorous emperor, they would definitely skin him alive for praising the Muscovites of having done a "great" job on their annexed land.

Nobody could deny the "stamina" of the Chinese as they have a history of 5,000 years.

With regard to your so-called “Vietnamese stamina”, I wish to bring up a few points.

We can compare the Vietnamese to the piranhas of the South American rivers. If we could drop a dinosaur into a South American river, it would be stripped off all its flesh and left with its skeleton standing in the water in a matter of few hours. If you don't believe the "stamina" of the piranhas, you can jump into a river in South America to find out for yourself.

From this analogy, we could see why big powers like China, France, Japan and the US have failed to get a permanent foothold in Vietnam. They were just like large animals fighting for their lives in a river of piranhas.

The ability of the Vietnamese to drive out the invaders does not mean they have more superior genes than the Chinese, French, Japanese and Americans. Neither do they have better genes than you or me. Firstly, they succeed to drive out their enemies because they are united and fight together as a group or nation. Secondly, and importantly, they have exploited the geographical advantages of their land to the maximum in their wars against the foreign invaders.

Foreign invaders found that they had not only lost their blood in guerrilla warfare but also had to feed their blood to mosquitoes and leeches in the sweltering heat of the Vietnamese jungles. Very often they had to play hide-and-seek with the guerrillas in the countryside, fighting waist deep in the water of padi fields.

Thirdly, the Vietnamese are experts in making and using deadly bamboo traps to capture or kill their enemies. Their bamboo traps are primitive but deadly and effective.

Fourthly, and more importantly, the Vietnamese are experts in playing one enemy country against another. Surprisingly, there are enough idiots in the world for the Vietnamese to manipulate against each other. For instance, many times in history, they had used the Chinese to help them drive out the French, the Japanese and the Americans. They had used the French to eradicate Chinese influence in Indo-China. Now they seem to use their former bitter enemies, the Americans, to counter the Chinese. It won't be surprising that some decades later, they will use Chinese help to drive out the Americans again.

Your Majesty and other rulers of Eastern European countries should copy the Vietnamese method of playing one enemy country against another.

In conclusion, when you fall into a river of piranhas, you would be as dead as an American soldier in the Vietnamese jungle. It doesn't mean that a Vietnamese guerrilla is a better fighter than an American soldier. Similarly, it doesn't mean that the tiny piranha can win you or any other human beings in fighting. Both the Vietnamese guerrilla and the piranha are able to exploit the geographical advantages to the maximum. If you take a few Vietnamese soldiers out of their country, you will find them as helpless as the few piranhas that are taken out of the water. You can fry the piranhas and enjoy a delicious meal. With regard to the few Vietnamese, you cannot fry them but you can do whatever you feel appropriate.

Your Majesty Emperor Algirdas seems to be more Chinese than the Chinese. As a reward for your "Chineseness", I decide to let you have free copyright of my "poem". If you could make a fortune out of my "poem", I won't demand a single cent but take off my hat to you instead.

The following is an improved version of my poem: "Vietnam's Burning Bright".

    Good luck!

    Vietnam, Vietnam, burning bright
In the middle of the night,
    What ruthless heart or hand
Could trigger such deadly violence in thy land?

What monkeys and simpletons play with fire,
Turning thy land into a funeral pyre?
    What evil heart or mind
Could leave such a bloody mess behind?

What instigation, and by whose order,
Could create such lawlessness and disorder?
And when thy sinful heart begins to beat,
What burning fire and what searing heat?

What the hammer? What the sickle?
What makes thy brainless mind so fickle?
    What irrational ways of thinking
Could mislead thee into arson, looting and killing?

When thy barbaric people spread fears and terrors,
It's time to rectify thine errors.
Is thine ungrateful heart taken over by greed
That causes thy land to bleed?

    Vietnam, Vietnam, burning bright
In the middle of the night,
    What ruthless heart or hand
Could trigger such deadly violence in thy land?

Vietnam vows tough measures to avert anti-China unrest
17 May`14 - Vietnam vowed on Saturday to thwart any new outbreak of violence after deadly rioting devastated crucial manufacturing centers this week in an outpouring of rage over Chinese oil drilling in a disputed area of the South China Sea.

What do you mean by "Vietnam blinkin' first"? Are you advocating more looting, torching and killing of innocent people? I am sure Granny would say very different things if Grandpa were to be killed and burned by the Vietnamese rioters.

It is questionable whether the Vietnamese regime was in cahoots with the rioters in the arson, looting and killing of innocent people. The background of the so-called civil society groups is more questionable. It is interesting to note that the anti-China riots started in southern Vietnam which was a stronghold of the former pro-American South Vietnamese regime during the Vietnam War. Many cadres of the South Vietnamese regime still remain in that part of the country, where capitalist and pro-Western influence is the strongest. Quite a number of South Vietnamese who fled the country on the final days of the Vietnam War have returned home from the US and other Western countries.

It won't be surprising that anti-communist elements are hiding among the rioters and taking advantage of the anti-China sentiment to create more economic and social unrest amidst the current economic slowdown with the ultimate aim of overthrowing the communist regime.

Please note that Vietnam has recently withdrawn as the host of the 2019 Asian Games, saying it lacked funds and the country's reputation could be at risk if things did not go smoothly. Many Vietnamese have questioned whether the cost -- in the hundreds of millions of dollars -- is worth it given the country is still struggling to emerge from the global financial crisis.

As I said, part of this may be either infighting within the Vietnam Communist party or even a 3rd party power . I'm sure the Vietnam Communist let the Protest start, but almost certainly did not plan for it to turn into a looting spree (against non-PRC factories for that matter.) .

the VC is trying to mimic their Chinese counter part in terms of retaining legitimacy in rule with success in economics, this is kinda hard to do when something like this happens .

If Your Majesty Emperor Algirdas were one of the innocent people critically injured by the Vietnamese rioters, Your Majesty might be as forgiving as Jesus to repeat the First Word of His famous Seven Words to your murderers instead of calling them monkeys.

"Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do."

It won't come as surprise that Your Majesty, with such racial supremacy mentality, is eager to regard all Asians (including the Indians of India), whether good or bad, as monkeys. I am an Asian myself. How can I be so foolish to call all Asians monkeys? Your Majesty needs a reality check.

It looks like Your Majesty is very eager to treat the Indians as monkeys. I hope Your Majesty won't include the Red Indians in this category too; otherwise each of them will fire three arrows at Your Majesty’s royal heart in no time.

P.S. Please be reminded of Abe’s three arrows.

China is evacuating citizens from Vietnam, which seems like a sign that it might use military action.

My esteemed friend, if your children are abused and beaten up by school bullies, and the teachers are turning a blind eye to the whole matter because the bullies are relatives of the school principal, are you going to sit idle as though your children’s plight is none of your concern?

Once you have taken the right action to transfer your children out to another school, a weird guy starts spreading rumours that you are going to burn down the school and kill all the teachers. How would you feel then? Feeling proud? Feeling like a hero?

Take another analogy, if a volcano has become active with lava spilling from its crater, shouldn't the government take action to evacuate all the inhabitants in the vicinity of the volcano?

More than 20 people have died and over 100 were injured in the Vietnamese riots. The arson, looting and killing committed by the Vietnamese mobs are no joke. Given such crimes to humanity, who is more likely to start a war?

I am sure many people would agree with me that the recent deadly violence won't be the last. There will definitely be many more protests in Vietnam. There is no guarantee that the deadly violence won't be repeated with more deaths and casualties of innocent people from Hong Kong, Taiwan, mainland China and other countries.

Don't tell me, my esteemed friend, you could feel safe working or living in such a hostile, volatile and unpredictable environment in Vietnam?

In conclusion, it would be a great blunder for China to fire the first shot. America would be laughing and clapping with glee as it sees China going to get stuck in the same quagmire as its soldiers had experienced in the Vietnam War.

If Vietnam fires the first shot, the best thing China could do is to return fire, but NEVER TRY TO CROSS THE BORDER; otherwise it will fall into the same trap as Uncle Sam had fallen years ago in the Vietnam War. Using an analogy, the Chinese army would be just like another dinosaur falling into a river of piranhas if it crosses the Sino-Vietnamese border.

To me, all races in the world, including all Asians, are equal because all of us are supposed to be descendants of Adam and Eve. Hence the term "superior race" could never be found in my dictionary. My motto in life, like all Chinese, is "All Men are Brothers".

To me, all good men are saints with places reserved for them in heaven, but all bad men like those murderers, looters and arsonists in the Vietnamese riots are barbarians with places reserved for them in hell. I hope Your Majesty won't stoop so low as to sympathise with the criminals and the crazies.

I have found that Your Majesty Emperor Algirdas is never tired of talking about superior race. Is Your Majesty hinting to us of your royal blood and superior race?

P.S. I am sure you would agree with me that traitors are worse than barbarians. You know the proud, superior race of your Duchy Land won't hesitate to skin any traitorous emperor alive and feed his heart to the dogs, right?

    1. Just like the baby in the story of Solomon, a map does not say everything. Your Majesty Emperor Algirdas has to use your brain like wise King Solomon.

For example, if Your Majesty looks at the map of Gibraltar, it is nearer to Spain than Britain. However, there is no hope for Spain to claim back Gibraltar from Britain unless its military is more powerful than the British.

    2. Following are excerpts from the article headlined "Paracels Islands Dispute" at http://www.mevietnam.org/lanhtho-lanhhai/feer-dispute.html

    (Begin excerpts)
....on June 15, 1956, Premier Pham Van Dong reportedly said to China: "From the historical point of view, these islands are Chinese territory."

In 9/1958, when China, in its declaration extending the breadth of Chinese territorial waters to 12 nautical miles, specified that the decision applied to all Chinese territories, including the Paracels and the Spratlies, Hanoi again went on record to recognize China'sovereignty over the 2 archipelagoes. PVD stated in a note to Chinese leader Zhou Enlai on 14/9/1958: "The Government of the Democratic Republic of VN recognizes and supports the declaration of the Government of the People's Republic of China on its decision concerning China territorial sea made on 4/9/1958....

In pursuing its national interests, Vietnam has undertaken actions which appear highly provocative from China's point of view. For example, during Vietnam's long struggle for independence it made no public protests over Chinese claims to territory in the South China Sea and indeed supported them. Yet after unification Vietnam reversed its stance. In 1975 Vietnam occupied a number of islands in the Spratly archipelago and subsequently pressed territorial claims to the entire South China Sea. As Foreign Minister Nguyen Manh Cam has admitted:

"Our leaders' previous declaration on the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagoes was made in the following context: At that time, under the 1954 Geneva agreement on Indochina, the territories from the 17th parallel southward including the two archipelagoes were under the control of the South Vietnam administration. Moreover, Vietnam then had to concentrate all its force on the highest goal of resisting the US aggressive war to defend national independence. It had to gain support of friends all over the world. Meanwhile, Sino-Vietnamese relations were very close and the two countries trusted each other. China was according to Vietnam a very great support and valuable assistance. In that context and stemming from the above-said urgent requirement, our leaders' declaration [supporting China's claims to sovereignty over the Paracel and Spratly islands] was necessary because it directly served the fight for the defence of national independence and the freedom of the motherland. More specifically, it aimed at meeting the then immediate need to prevent the US imperialists from using these islands to attack us. It has nothing to do with the historical and legal foundations of Vietnam's sovereignty over the,Truong Sa and Hoang Sa archipelagoes (remarks to a press conference in Hanoi on 2 December 1992 carried by Vietnam News Agency, 3 December 1992)."

These statements show that all what Chinese have alledged above are true. What happen today related to these 2 islands are merely consequences of the wicked settlement of these 2 communist brothers in the past. No one in the world community want to step in to settle the dispute between Communist Vietnam and PRC. The reason is very clear : diplomatic note and recognition by Vietnamese Communists can't be erased by a small country like VN who has wanted to play a trick cheating China. Moreover, Vietnamese Communists can't stay away from China while they have to follow Chinese "doi moi" to go forward to socialism. (End excerpts)

I am glad that Your Majesty Emperor Algirdas has acknowledged that Gibraltar is an occupied part of Spain. Which country is occupying Gibraltar since its capture from Spain in a war? Which country is occupying the Paracels since the capture of the archipelago from the Vietnamese?

Your Majesty has to return to your royal kindergarten to brush up your knowledge of world history.

P.S. I hope Your Majesty would never forget that your Duchy Land is also occupied by foreigners; otherwise your miserable people would never forgive the forgetful emperor.
