The thing about the dems is they always out-maneuver the R's because they fight dirty. BUT they leave a trail of slime like the slugs they are. So, my fellow conservatives who debate liberals IRL or elsewhere on line, use their words and deeds against them. They're so cocky, they don't even try to hide it. Okay, challenge accepted. Now get bizzy.
Not even one comment? I can understand liberals avoiding this like plague, but conservatives should be discussing this.
Well I think we already get it. In fact, Alcee Hastings, the Congressman you quoted, was a former federal judge who was the first federal judge in like, a century, to be impeached. The guy is a criminal, and a Democratic constituency looked at his record, and said, "We gotta send that guy to Congress!" So of course with them, there are no rules. That's a given.
What should be discussed? It is a stupid quote that is part of a longer quote that is two years old. Should folks expend the energy to attack Hastings, who has plenty of faults, over something that she said two years ago? Or should folks simply consider the manufactured outrage nothing more than a partisan attempt to fling e-poo?
It's not so much that for me, but I just immediately reject partisan comments because both parties are equally corrupt and derelict in their duty and responsibility to the Constitution. Hearing Republicans who pretend to be limited government but actually are expansive government is worse than listening to Dems, because they never purport to be anything but.
Republicans will always play catch up at best because the Dems control the media and Hollywood. They can shape public opinion by using the media. Obama violates the law on a daily bases but it gets no press. However, a few weeks ago, the media tried to talk about the school bully issue and that Mitt Romney was a school bully. In order for this to change, the right needs to conduct a hostile take over of the media and Hollywood. Only then can they point out the "evils of the left".
This is ignoring the fact that the conservative "news" network, Fox, gets more views than all the other networks combined. Conservative (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)ing about "liberal media" is just that - empty (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)ing.
Yes, yes, undoubtedly true. But...the top guys behind both parties work for the same goals, so...meh, 6 of 1...
Here's another ..... Yeah, she was referring to Reginald Denny who was nearly killed after being pulled out of his truck and beaten in the head with a cinder block during the Watts riots (her district). I remember that. Look at the perp happy dancing and flipping the birds at the chopper photographer: And she's under investigation right now by the House Ethics Committee for Can't wait for some liberal to say it's Bush's fault....lol.
No argument there. I just get (*)(*)(*)(*)ing sick of the childish portrayal of Fox News as a tiny David fighting off the "MSM" (aka liberal) media Goliath when it's patently absurd.
Don't even go there. It's real and it's documented. I remember even seeing it on the CBS Evening News when it happened. Here's another for ya.
This is him after the attack: Watch the news video of it: You can easily see the perp happy dancing and flipping birds. And guess what else? I remember Mr. Denny saying later that he forgave the people who did that to him.
This viddy shows him being pulled out of his truck. Start at the 6 minute mark. The Black man who rescued him said (in the viddy in the previous post) that he was attacked because he happened to be there and because he was White. Now, back to the topic of dems. This is Watts. It's Maxine Waters' district.
I was a professional artist for seven years of my life. I can tell a non-photographed picture when I see one. The manufactured one is pretty different from the actual photo.
