I think the sad thing is politics has become a LOT like religion. It use to be about policies and what can you do different than the other people to fix the country. Now it is like religion where people blindly follow their leaders. Policies are no longer the forefront and rarely discuss but how evil the other side is and how we have to stop them is.

The Christians are taking a page from the Muslims. The Muslims were forced into this position by the Western powers supporting repressive regimes that allowed no dissent, so dissent went to religion and now this ideology is coming back to bite the West in the ass. Just goes to show you shouldn't repress people but even Machiavelli knew that.

Sounds to me like they are...or at least worshipping the ideological concepts of what Satan stands for. Keep in mind people worship all sorts of things don't realize...from themselves and their own "enlightenment" to climate change ideology.
