Ashley Dionne, 26, posted the now-viral letter to conservative radio host Dennis Pragers Facebook page earlier this week. She explains how she graduated from the University of Michigan in 2009, at which point she was told she was too educated and wouldnt stay at low-paying jobs. Dionne writes that she has a series of medical conditions, and the Obamacare system pushes her out of a system that favors the non-working poor. I have asthma, ulcers, and mild cerebral palsy. Obamacare takes my monthly rate from $75 a month for full coverage on my Young Adult Plan, to $319 a month. After $6,000 in deductibles, of course, Dionne wrote in the Facebook post. Liberals claimed this law would help the poor. I am the poor, the working poor, and I cant afford to support myself, let alone older generations and people not willing to work at all. The Affordable Care Act allows kids to stay on their parents health care plans until the age of 26. Although she writes that she landed a job at a gym, she states that it only allows for 32 hours each week, for eight dollars an hour. And she bluntly adds that Obamacare costs for will only increase difficulties for young adults. This law has raped my future, she writes. It will keep me and kids my age from having a future at all. This is the real face of Obamacare and it isnt pretty. This letter says it all about Obamacare.
40,000 at this point is GOOD? How many millions of hits has the administration claimed were happening as blame for the failures and shut downs and they got 40,000 people in a state of what, 10 million? Bragging about that, considering they are "conscripted" is pathetic! The program's a dog. It won't hunt, pukes on your rug and tried to (*)(*)(*)(*) your wife's leg. Now, Obamalemmings feel free to start lighting your hair on fire and screaming "NEO CON" and such gibberish, as I am a card carrying member of the Liberal Party of British Columbia, support universal health care, gay marriage, old age security, a social safety net and being kind to animals... If there is a "con" if the country that lines up on those things, and I've been making the challenge for six years now, then I accept the label. Until then, bozo brains, you earn that label.
No surprise it went viral. $315 a month for someone making $8 an hour... Someone WILLING to work with those barriers? Come to Canada dear...we have a job AND free medical waiting for you.
Like the post and agree with it all but "neo socialist"... If Obama is a socialist of any kind then Bush was one too. From this vantage point he's virtually the same except for the blank check thinking. The man is NOT a socialist. Compared to him I am a socialist...... He's more fascist, but in reality a populist.....the political equivalent of a prostitute.
If you read between the lines, the letter makes it clear that you can't expect very much of a life on $256/week.
If the majority of the people knew who and what BH Obama is they would be in the streets demanding his impeachment. He lied about every part of the ACA - even the name is a lie - BH Obama-care will cost our economy trillions of dollars if it isn't stopped. It will cost individuals thousands of dollars more than they are paying now and almost no one will be able to keep their present plan because their current plan doesn't cover the mandated maternity coverage for women from 12 to 65. Maybe when our homo cousin that want to get married have to pay for maternity coverage just like all other married couples they will understand who BHO is.
If you read your post, you'd know it's not a He it's a she. She graduated from the University of Michigan 4 years ago and shes working part time for $8/hr. She probably had subsidized insurance last year on her parents plan, thanks to Obama Care, now she too old for that. And I have heard so many rate quotes coming from people that are all over the place, that I just don't believe them.
