Wow, so leftists in Europe blame Bush too? I seem to know more about France than you do. Hollande's approval rating, his move to the right despite being a French socialist and the fact that something like 1 in 3 French college graduates leave the country because of the abominable unemployment rate... France is just not a model for anyone at this stage and no one believes that it is besides a tiny sliver of Hollande supporters who realize they're imminently going to lose power to a coalition of rightists and far-rightists like Jean-Marie Le Pen.

Once again, I am impressed with your understanding of economics, beyond political economic's partisan spin. Thank you. You are absolutely correct!

Sorry, dear. . .I don't think you will ever know more than I do about LIVING in France, or in Holland, or in Belgium or even in Germany!
And, YES, Bush was responsible for Europe's down turn. . .because of the deregulation of Wall Street that allows the banks and stock brokers to sell KNOWN trash stock and defunct mortgage to banks in Europe.

The chock didn't hit them immediately, so their unemployment went up about 6 months to a year AFTER the US. . .and they are still struggling, BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE OBAMA as head of State!

You may also remember that if 1 out of 3 French College graduates leaves the country it is BECAUSE the whole of Europe is OPEN and they are able to work ANY PLACE in Western Europe. . .NOT unlike we have here in the US! Do you think that College graduate leave North Carolina to work in Colorado because of "unemployment?"

US is not a model for anyone at this stage. . .because of the bickering and the constant stupidity of the extreme Right wing and people like Cruz!

By the way, even Jean-Marie Le Pen is far LEFT of Ted Cruz! NO one is as extreme as the tea party!

Like I said FAUX News's lie was so obvious I didn't need to look past the Google News link to find it. But Joeseph Goebels would have loved you dear.

Meanwhile back in the REAL world...

Only conservatives would see not forcing people to work until they drop as a "bad thing"!

The only reason I'm still responding is because these rants of yours are kind of funny. The French don't even consider themselves to be a model anymore and when the French themselves are developing that kind of attitude... and here you are tooting their horn like it was 1998. A person would need to be completely ignorant of the modern state of France to believe any of the things you are saying.

Sure, there is a conception of "left Le Penn-ism" out there but she's a nationalist with socialistic tendencies... where have we heard that before?

What a ridiculous comment! How many "French people" do you know? Do you live in France?

If you do, you are ABSOLUTELY NOT the type of representative 80% of the French would call their own!

But I do agree with you on one thing: debating with you is funny and entertaining! Your rants are so off that they are more like a caricature of reality!:roflol:

I've visited France many times and I base my opinions off of what I read from credible sources and polling, not off of anecdotes exuding more baseless French arrogance.

For example, socialist French President Hollande has a 22% approval rating that is up from 15% a couple months ago, likely because he's moving away from the left, but his socialist party still polls below the far-right group Front National which isn't surprising since only 17% of the French think that the EU is moving in the right direction. I'm going to draw my conclusions off of these kinds of things and not from your anecdotes and I certainly am not going to put my support behind economic policies based upon your anecdotes regarding the excellence of France's socialists.

Only liberals would see people quitting work so they can suck off of the hard working American tit as a "good thing."

Not forcing them to work until they drop? Nobody was forcing them to work until the drop, however, thanks to liberals, you've done nothing more than enable them to do what so many other liberal voters are doing, not working to suck off the gov't tit.

Must be fun being a liberal. You certainly have plenty of time to be one, being as how you don't have to work. You only need vote for the liberal, everything else will be handed to you.

If libertarianism is such a great idea why is there not even ONE single nation (out of 193 nations on this planet) that is organized along libertarian lines? And there NEVER has been. The closest you will EVER get is Somalia. Have you considered the possiblity that its just a bunch of ignorant crap? If you believe in the free market, why aren’t you willing to accept as final the judgment against libertarianism rendered decades ago in the free and unfettered marketplace of ideas?

And not one country (out of 193) has ever thrived with this liberal utopia you try to push. So why don't you consider liberalism is just a bunch of ignorant crap? This thread isn't about libertarian-ism. If you want to speak of the libertarian ideals, start your own thread.

I really find it hard to believe that apparently Intelligent people refuse to do any research to find the truth rather than hang on desperately to their party views. If you are truely an American Patriot or at least an American then stop looking for your parties views in the truth look for the truth in your parties views. In my 57 yrs of an American Citizen, Veteran, Resturant Manager (field & unit) and just a dumb ass American male who has seen all parts of America & the World, and has worked 44yrs as a taxpayer from $1.25 hr to a salary + bonus! this I know to be true that Gov. Social Service workers have told many low income ( not Min up to $9.00 hr to reduce their hours and even quit employment for the rest of the year so they won't exceed the income limit for max fed. aid! So BlackPearl when I started reading this thread this caught my eye and for the life of me I can't figure why all the liberals reading this couldn't see and accept it! As proud Americans I think we all want to make this Nation Stronger and Better!!

the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) said in its report.
Lower-income workers will be hardest hit, limiting their hours to avoid losing federal subsidies.

Conservatives and the White House promptly clashed over the findings.
In Tuesday's report the nonpartisan CBO said work hours would be reduced by the equivalent of 2.3 million full-time workers by 2021.

Again BlackPearl I think you're missing the point it's not the Elder workers quiting ( but trufully if they took care of their own future they wouldn't have to work for ins, but just for tickles and grins say find an employer that gives ins with 30hr wk their out there now ) but rather the young people more interested in social life rather than taking care of their selves and their families as the CBO report points out!

Losing your job or not looking for work because there are no jobs is a classic case of a distinction without a difference. FOX is fine.
