    Just a day after reports emerged that the FBI had seized a number of "smashed hard drives" and other computer equipment from the residence Imran Awan, the former IT aide of Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, we learn that Awan has been captured at the Dulles airport while attempted to flee the country. According to Fox News, Awan has been charged with bank fraud.
    For those who have managed to avoid this story, which wouldn't be difficult given that the mainstream media has made every attempt to ignore it, the Pakistani-born brothers Abid, Imran, and Jamal Awan are at the center of a criminal investigation by U.S. Capital Hill Police and the FBI. Up until now, allegations of wrong doing have varied from simply overcharging taxpayers for congressional IT equipment to blackmailing members of Congress with secrets captured from the emails of their Democrat employers.
    The Awan brothers worked for more than 30 house and senate democrats, as well as Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz. The substantial scandal has raised questions about who may have been passed data which the Awan's had access to, given Pakistan's history of collaborating with a number of foreign countries who have demonstrated past willingness to influence U.S. politics.
    Just yesterday we learned that FBI agents reportedly seized a number of "smashed hard drives" and other computer equipment from the Awan's former residence in Virginia.

    Who paid for his ticket? Who encouraged him to leave? I think they should water board this guy and make him spill the beans.
    I am excited ... this maybe the beginning of something really, really BIG.
    Democrats know it and are soiling their underwear right now. There are an amazing number of ways to accidentally die or 'commit suicide' in government custody.
    Meanwhile, will Wasserman-Schultz be allowed to escape to "Israel". :roflol:

    And this guy trying to skip out of the country is more than trying to pin crimes on the opposition party.

    This scandal broke months ago. Congressional committees aren't involved with this one ... yet. The fact that Dem committee members actually requested clearance be granted to allow these IT contractors access to super sensitive intelligence, might mean some (D) congressman find themselves subpoenaed by committee.

    Until the next story breaks, and the next one, and the next one, and the next one, until all our government does is attempt to prosecute the previous administration for any number of crimes broken. I'm not saying they're invalid, I'm just sick of seeing it.

    Should be a perfect demonstration for anyone that years for an Anarchist state.

    Perhaps, but you can't really prosecute someone that gives out clearance because the person who was issued the clearance did something stupid with it... unless the issuer broke protocol somehow.

    Ignored, in the same way this fiasco has been ignored. Russia I agree has become all consuming, but there's an actual effort to make that so. This however has been swept under the rug ... Schultz is in office, sits on committee, and has interfered directly in the investigation. She threatened to withhold police funding through committee. The IT contractors are linked to terrorists.

    Didn't Schultz try and bully the Washington police chief into giving back Awan's laptop about a month ago? She must have known that there would be some explaining to do. Isn't that a crime in itself? There's a video of it somewhere. I wonder what they found on his laptop that led to a search warrant for his house.

    Edit: I just looked it up, Schultz was claiming that it was her laptop and she wanted it back. That seems worse for her.

    Arrested while fleeing the country is much more dramatic than the old warrant, knock on your door routine. Those Dems are nothing if not dramatic. Better stock up on popcorn, folks. This may be the first domino. ;)

    Well, maybe you spoke too soon. The Senate just decided to go further on the debate to repeal or replace Obamacare on the Congressional Bill. ITMT, the DOJ and the McCabe run FBI did happen to catch Awan just before he left for Pakistan.

    Somehow I see a few "mysterious suicides", "mysterious heart attacks" and thefts gone bad where the victim dies and the perp gets away coming in the future for some Progressive Democrats and their accomplices.
