    We only need one reason. Did Trump commit a crime. NO. If he told Bolton that he held up aid, does that translate in to a crime, NO.
    Case closed.
    Do you democrats really want impeachment to have such a low bar that a cockroach like Adam Schiff couldn't even squeeze under it? Under the new rules proposed by democrats Obama could have been impeached two dozens times. Is that what you really want? If by some crazy miracle a democrat does win in November I just hope payback comes with a big size 13 boot up Pelosi's ass.

    If Bolton could substantiate and support his testimony then it would create too much burden for the defense team, but I think the no vote is still very solid and none would submit as I see it.

    Something a lot more serious than threatening to withhold military aid for political gain. The constitution specifically mentions "treason" by way of example.

    Sure. Though Clinton's perjury was not concerning large enough of an issue that even it probably was not justified.

    I highly suspect that conservative culture has come to accept criminality as acceptable behavior. That it is okay to lie, cheat and steal, as long as one wins.

    I have been hearing a joke of sorts lately; When Nixon was in trouble he said, “I am not a crook”. But Trump says, “I’m a crook, so what”?

    It is one of those things the has always been obvious to me. That conservative “morality” has always been a little crooked, evil even. Trump has been exploiting it to great effect.

    Arizona might turn blue. Their current Republican Senator lost to the Democrat in the election of 2018 but was appointed to take McCain’s seat by the Republican governor. She is likely to not win the upcoming election, as the astronaut she is running against is twice as popular. That would give them two Democratic Senators. The presidential polling is even, so it could go either way.

    It is a curious phenomenon. A right wing pundit offers an opinion and not long after, conservatives all over the country suddenly develop the same opinion, as if it was their own.
