Were There Really Serious Assassination Threats Against President Obama?

    I've seen (from President Trump critics) the claim here in at least two threads that President Obama was repeatedly threatened with assassination.

    I don't recall that and I asked for sources on them.

    I haven't gotten them.

    So I'm asking it straight out:

    Were there serious assassination threats against President Obama? If so please link to the sources.

    And I mean "serious". Not casual, off hand oblique comments like "needing a 2nd Amendment solution" and stuff like that

    Any threats against Obama were not allowed to be made public because that would tarnish his image as the greatest of all time. With the media covering for him, easy to present himself as to popular to be killed.

    Most of those were no more than bad jokes. Like the actress sending Ricin in an attempt to frame her husband.

    Or the guy who fired several rounds into the White House.

    President Obama wasn't even there and the Secret Service did not even know about it until days later.

    Sure. White supremacists plotting to kill the guy, trying to bomb his inauguration and people hoping over fences repeatedly were all "bad jokes.":roll:

    Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Obama was America's first black president and white supremacists have a very nasty history of being opposed to any type of minorities.

    Trumpers still pretend he wasn't elected with the complete support of StormFront, the Klan, the NRA, survivalists, Neo-Nazis, grifter ranchers, and various assorted trash who hate black people and were tortured by eight years of Obama and his family living in the White House.

    None of them required an elaborate plot
    So on what basis do you confidently assert that some enormous clock and organization needs to be involved for there to be an affective assassination threat

    Ronald Reagan was also elected with the full support of the Klan and that turned out well for not only the U.S. but most of the world as well.

    After Reagan was nominated the KKK endorsed him and said the 1980 Republican Platform "looked like it had been written by a Klansman".

    Note, that Reagan rejected the KKK endorsement.

    Let's not forget the Charleston church shooter, the Sikh temple shooting in Wisconsin, the plot to kill Jesse Jackson, an attempt on Al Sharpton's life, the 2009 Pittsburgh police killings, the Jewish center shooting in Kansas, the Portland train attack this year, and this isn't even including the KKK's whole purpose being about hatred of anything that isn't purely white and Christian and their whole legacy is violence against blacks. And how white supremacy groups are the largest hate groups in America.

    Tell me again why white supremacists aren't threatening.

    BTW, the Klu Klux Klan was founded by southern Democrats, might have left that out too ;)

    Thye President to recieve the most deasth theats in history wasn't Obama or Nixon

    The President that received the most death threats in history wasn't Obama, Nixon or even Lincoln but LBJ.

    And guess where most of those death threats came from ? The left, the same people who are the Democrat establishment of today.

    Perhaps they "pretend" because there is no proof of the conspiracy theories. Just more nonsense thrown out there to try to cause problems and wishful thinking by those who want discord.

    I believe that if you looked, you would find that Black Lives Matter is actually the largest hate group in America. Hate to burst your bubble.
