His statement means you can't control a virus. And he's right. If you could control a virus we would have done it with the Flu decades ago.

The US was "not going to control the pandemic" but would instead "control the fact that we get vaccines, therapeutics, and other mitigation areas." the country is “not going to control the pandemic” — noting it is contagious like the flu and must be managed with therapeutics and vaccines.

So the left took that as you can control a virus but the WH has decided no too? Thats pretty dumb. Given the fact that you can't control a virus.

The interview with Tapper just showed the WH's views on masks. They can say they wear them all they want, but they don't. Pictures confirm that. Pence's travelling road show confirms that. And Meadows' doubting of Tapper, saying he doesn't believe that he wears a mask shows that they don't wear them themselves. And this whole 'essential worker' crap about Pence is just ridiculous.

 

Mr Mask himself Fauci got busted not wearing one... Cuomo is another who got busted multiple times.. Nancy Pelosi got busted.

We all saw Pelosi NOT apologize nor did she apologize for telling people in mid February to come to China town and party. Posts like yours's proves this is more about politics than reality. She said the words: "I take responsibility". She was told by the salon owner that there would only be one client at a time. That proved to be untrue. But frankly, I'm not a big Pelosi supporter, and she shouldn't have been going to the salon in the first place.
