What gives??!! Why did the GOP pull out the the GIANT RACE CARD during this general election??!!

They've used so much of it, I cannot keep track... but this latest thing REMOVES ALL DOUBT, that racism IS and HAS BEEN a part of the Republican tactics.

It may work (and it has to some degree), but not for all time it won't.

This is hilarious... desperate Obama holdouts desperately clinging to their race card and Obama bumper stickers as they prepare to go down with the ship.

He says while literally every single election expert that has given percentage chances for each candidate over the last few days has Obama at or very near 70% chance of winning November 6th. Yet the ship's going down? How?

By losing what he had in 2008 among men, women, independents, and various other people who don't like being suckered twice by the same person. Romney's got the momentum, and unless he can come up with something better than Big Bird, a dunce cap on Romney and a sexist ad, Obama is in big trouble.

Oh and who are all these "experts" anyway? I just heard Karl Rove call it for Romney if you want to play the "experts" game.

Please forgive him. Some true believers haven't even figured out that 2004 speech, "no white America, no black America" was a complete fabrication specifically designed to deceive the American people.

I think we should save a few of those people and put them in a museum or in a cage perhaps.

Ha!! Almost REGULARLY we see racist BS coming from some prominent member of the GOP; the equivalent has NOT occurred with Democrats.

    It is very obvious.

From Obama himself - "Typical white person", "Our people, our neighborhoods", "They acted stupidly", "If I had a son"

Then the long list of politicians, and pundits who are always insisting that anti-obama = racism (proof be (*)(*)(*)(*)ed), folks like Snoop and Sam Jackson openly admitting why they're voting for Obama, blatant death threats against Obama's white opponent if Obama loses the election by predominantly black males.

    Yeah... nothing to see here.

Do you think that it's for the better that whites become a minority?

Personally, I don't care how many people of each race there is in America. I'm not racist.

And the context in which that was said? (WHEN did he say it?)

    Come on; people aren't stupid!

That is nothing like the MEANING racist GOP members FREQUENTLY inject with their comments.

That doesn't sound like an honest answer. It sounds more like a conditioned response, with a guilt relieving snub at the end.

Does it matter? He's still stereotyping. And how is Obama's statement less controversial than Sununu suggesting that Powell might be supporting for reasons other than policy?

No, he wasn't. You might think so, but he qualified what he said very nicely. And that's a LOT better than what the GOP racists are saying/meaning all too often.

Sorry JC, can't agree with you on this one.

    No Barrack... I don't know.

If I were to refer to a black person being typical in any manner, it would be stereotyping... regardless of how I tried to rationalize it.

Yep, we surely disagree on that matter. Yet, it does not address the current and frequent racist commentary uttered by GOP members THROUGHOUT this campaign.

It's racist stuff that no one could/should ignore; and it is a part of the GOP strategy. :(

Yep... who remembers this little gem? Conveniently released before Romney was to address the NAACP.

When was hatred for the wealthy or "Whites" expressed by several prominent Democrats?

Can you link to an example of what you're claiming?

This progressive loves your vid lol. In fact I think it is way better than the one Johnny put up in the OP which I have to say personally is not really racist to me. Sununu just says maybe Powell is proud of Obama as 1st black President so is likely to be supportive of him, I'm not surprised by or shocked Sununu see's it that way. To me the damaging part in that vid was when Sununu mentions his old Boss GWB is supporting Romney. Now thats an endorsement Romney could do without.

Who said, "I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," "I mean, that's a storybook, man."?

Just as I stated earlier in the thread... PROOF BE (*)(*)(*)(*)ED. Here, the article is claiming that Romney had some sort of nefarious plan to be booed intentionally in order to cast the NAACP audience in a certain light.

Talk about paranoia, talk about grasping at straws.

Oddly enough though, even after being booed for using the term 'Obamacare', Romney still received a standing ovation at the end of his speech. MUCH to the dismay of Obama supporters... to be sure.

Yes, this video is a clear example of how the left leaning like to use race in politics.

The denial of the racist tactics used by the GOP is interesting. The racism is almost tangible... yet those swimming in it, deny it.

Hopefully, America will be further weened off of the same (racism) in years to come.
