Having an over-stated sense of self-importance is better than caring what others think. If I say I am one with the will of the Universe, that only matters to me and I don't judge how others view me or view themselves nor do I judge people for arriving at different conclusions. Whatever works for them is great. I admit I could be wrong.

Also, I don't believe in a hereafter nor to I take the Christian view that I have the responsibility to point people to salvation through preaching. I'm not here to convince you of what I believe, only that it is a coping mechanism for me to feel good about living.

As for having a therapist, first of all, you don't know me or what I've been through so I don't think you can tell me how I should take care of myself. Second, the lockdown of 2020 made it very difficult for me to go see a therapist.

Funny how this thread drags on after I tuned out long ago.

I forgot to mention. I still have a "scar" from my 2020 descent into depression. My shoulders still have a kind of strange twitching. I know it's mental because I can will it to stop with my mind. But it comes automatically when I forget to tell myself "Don't twitch"

If money is a "God" then the word has little meaning left to it, a clear sign that the evil atheists have won. Oh dear.
