Oooo, I hit the right nerve! :-D

    Love it.

So, is it Coles or Woolies that you do night fill in?

I'm guessing Woolies: you sound like a WW kinda guy.

Actually, come to think of it, I'm starting to get an IGA vibe from you :-D

Despite some interesting thoughts on the topic, something is still missing for me.

How often did it happen to you, walking the streets or being in a shop or a pub, that while looking around you were asked “what the (*)(*)(*)(*) are you looking at?”

It happened to me more then once, but never overseas.

There is some kind of inner aggression in many of us, which is unexplained.

I had a conversation some time back with a German, and discussing the same subject, he reckoned it’s the missing minerals in our water. Don’t believe it? Go to Coles, and have a look at the ingredients of our Mineral water, than grab one of those 3 times more expensive Italian waters, and you will see what he meant. Our body needs those minerals and good healthy food, and not we are used to nowadays, drinking rain or tap water or consuming fast-food.

We also got the highest radiation in our soil, who knows how it is affecting us after generations ….

To top it off, our televisions contents have become of the cheapest quality, Americanized in such a dumb way, that it’s hardly expectable, to grow a decent or beautiful mind out of that crap (see WIN or GWN).

Yes, and I do agree kids need boundaries and limits, our latest antiauthorial upbringing is creating damage beyond repair for those, who missed out.

But I just cannot see the problem related to a certain group or race of people only, which doesn’t mean I wouldn’t recognize, that some have more problem then others.

    Cheers for now…

Hit a nerve? Nope, your "joke" just wasn`t even remotely witty . It was in fact, just a witless absurdity, floating around in cyber space like an unwanted orphan. Your "joke" could well be used henceforth as an outstanding example of "puerile banality". Your "joke" was the "wet fart" of the joke world. Your "joke" would fail to amuse a retarded cane beetle.

Yes, you certainly did hit a nerve. He should have just shut up about it. But then blustering blowhards find that hard to do.

Awash with violence on TV, games etc. Alot of it glamerised.

Lot more people around these days, alot more people out drinking, drinking later.

    Not enough good hard policing.

% of reoffenders is too high.

If we are all innocent until proven guilty, why shouldn't bail be granted?

I'm not arguing for or against it, I'm just curious.

If everyone is assumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law, why should anyone be kept behind bars until the trial/hearing?

    And, ... this just in:

"A 40-year-old man is fighting for his life in hospital after being assaulted in Perth overnight."

On Monday or Tuesday I read a letter published in the Westaustralian by a young man from Argentina, and if my memory serves me right, he just spent one year in Perth. To all the praise came also a the less beautiful note:
He said, that he watched more street fights in 12 months time in Perth than in his 25 odd years in Argentina.
We do have a real problem on our hands, and we obviously cannot solve it........

There is a "reasonable risk" clause that must be satisfied before people charged with certain crimes can be released on bail. This clause mostly applies to the risks of reoffending, interfering with witnesses, and fleeing bail.

No need to be a "clairvoyant psychatrist" old boy.

Silicon Magician freely admitted that he gets a rush from punching people in the nose.

His post has now been deleted, as his violent outbursts weren't welcome on the forum.

Abuse, over use of the sooky button really kills a message board. In real life, those of us who have lives, shrug off the little knocks on a daily basis. No point in crying over every little paper cut.

What really kills a message board is members who steer the conversation towards physical violence.

Some people condone physical violence, some people don't.

    I'm happy with my position.

Who pressed the sook button when I pointed out your ignorance on a subject, no physical threats, no abuse?
