Obama didn'nt give iran any money. Not a single cent of US tax money was given to them The money was already theirs. It was simply frozen by US sanctions. Part of the Iran deal was the US lifting the santions keeping the accounts frozen. And yes that is a pretty good deal for 10 years with nno bombs, And giving up over 90% of their enriched uranium, and allowing regular inspections. Unfreezing a few accounts is not a bad deal for all of that. .

Why did China step up to NK? Could be they’re getting a new lifelong president, could be they are fed up with NK costing them billions. Many factors, but more than likely little of it has rto do with Trump. The minute Trumpets admit that, the minute we can begin having a real conversation.

 

You can't have a "real conversation" with someone who is unwilling to give Trump credit when he accomplishes things that are good for America and the world. It doesn't matter how you feel about Trump, he was not my first choice either, but bringing NK to the negotiating table is a good thing. Every step we take towards denuclearization is a good thing.

HELLO! Saying we can sleep easier and announcing a done deal are not the same thing. It is even possible any real deal might have to be approved by the Senate as a treaty, unless in that situation Trump follows Obama's lead.

 

I think NK can hurt us with their nukes but they’re not the only threat. Nuclear war is sloppy. Other nuclear powers would object to use irradiating a country so close to them. Russia and chinas early warning system may not be able to distinguish between an attack on them and an attack on a country very close to them when the origin point is the US.

There’s no such thing as clean cut one and done nuclear war.
