Name calling, now even some foolish Democrats are trying but with T**** gone we can hope for more civil discourse. It is nearly impossible to respond to someone that uses juvenile name calling because you have to lower yourself to being a juvenile to do so.

I rarely, if ever respond to threads with such horsemerde in the title and I sincerely pray that the US (and others) can grow up to be adults again someday. It's much easier for adults to compete on the international markets.

If you're suggesting Trump has cornered the market on namecalling, I think you need to pay attention to more than Trump. And yet I don't find it particularly difficult to maintain civil discourse. You never have to lower yourself to anything. You can choose to of course, but its your choice. Personally I find it more empowering to try to let others do the namecalling, refrain from it myself, and let them tank themselves with their own lack of emotional stability.

 

Maybe. But they sure know what "Nazi" means. It fits Trump ok. But "fascist" is probably more appropriate.

However, none of those are "name calling". They are a description of your Orange Idol's political positions.

As of today - the most likely result by year end is that he wins the election. He will never be in jail.

Both sides engage in name calling and both give us garbage candidates. If Trump wins, Dems have no one to blame but themselves

 

It is my hope that, when Trump is gone (one way or another), Republicans will return to civility and decency. And I hope that Democrats will not seek to keep the incivility alive by calling out their hypocrisy. We need peace amongst ourselves if we hope to thrive as a country.

The scary thing about this election is that the democrats have made clear that their sole mission, their goal, is to keep Trump out of the oval office.
No matter what it takes.
They are willing to lie about Trump.
They are willing to deny Trump basic constitutional guarantees.
They are willing to do whatever they can to even keep trump off of the ballot.
They will cheat, or steal, or attack whatever they think they need to do to stop Trump.
