It's appearing to lead an exciting life, making movies or posting pictures about it so that people who are sitting on the couch can virtually live 'the dream' too. So this can be termed a social influencer, often associated with traveller or fashion. But also influencers can be knowledgeable about certain things, really good cooks or craftspeople, financial advisors, etc. I prefer this type of influencer. The go-to media for influencers is usually YouTube or Instagram. Money would be usually made through direct sponsorship from YouTube. I.e views, or secondarily through courses or associated sales of products linked to the website.
