What is your favorite conspiracy theory and why?

I'm sure this has been a thread before, but heck I'm new here!

What's your fave conspiracy theory and why? I'm in a debating mood today.

Let's see whatcha got!

 

I'm kind of partial to the Birther conspiracy, because, in my opinion, it offers the most comedic value.

 

It does indeed... and it speaks volumes to the quality of education in civics.

 

Very interesting one. It seems pretty cut and dry he was born in Hawaii. In my opinion, the confusion lied between his mother living in Kenya prior to him being born, then there was some "time lapse" and he was living with his mother in Indonesia for a short time as a kid.

I have the back-story right, correct? It's been a while since I've addressed the birther stuff so I may have my facts wrong. Either way, I think he was born in Hawaii. I think it was classic politics to portray him as "unAmerican". I can't stand the guy, but I think he's American-born.

 

What else do we have? Any good conspiracies that some of us may not know about? Any world-wide conspiracies happening?

 

It's obvious that the Hawaii BC is a phony, and there's a cover up! Therefore, B. Hussein Obama was likely born in Kenya. He's lied about everything else, why not that?

 

What about the Assange situation? Anyone think he was "setup" for that sexual assault charge in Sweden? I don't.

 

While the birthers are good for a laugh, I find that the bigfoot theorists to be just as ignorant.

I just love 'em all. But my favorite, if I had to pick one, was that meeting of all those Allied leaders following WWII. It's a lovely little conspiracy theory that covers so many subsequent conspiracies

 

Can you elaborate? Pardon my ignorance of the conspiracies behind this one.

 

May be it's because of my experience in the environment of ufologist, but my favor conspiracy theory is about aliens.

Abstract.

Aliens are among us [and I don't mean Mexican immigrants!], they control the world by means of a protectorate on the United States. The government of the American Republic is controlled by an organism [Majesty 12] created by the aliens [again, not the Mexicans!] to have an interface with the human North American superpower.

Alien abduction and mutilations of animals are part of a long term plan to create hybrids to serve the aliens [these hybrids will be not so intelligent results of genetic interbreeding among humans and animals or even aliens].

 

I'm partial to the theory that Michelle Obama is actually a man and Barack is actually a girl.

So far, that one has never been debunked.

Sure, in brief. Story goes that directly following WWII, Allied leaders got together with the intent of divvying up he spoils of war, so to speak. Patton, a true patriot, was against this and was eliminated. Real Estate was assigned to the various factions and the cold war implemented to maintain control over the masses (Ala Orwell's '1984') and the fledgling 'one world government' was initiated. Truman went along although not included in the grand scheme of things, fired MacArthur, another dissenter and possible fly on the ointment. Eisenhower took charge of the U.S. per schedule with Nixon (a player) waiting in the wings to take over after Ike. But surprise, Kennedy pops up and sets the schedule back a few years. For fear of Kennedy's re-election, he's assassinated and Johnson (another player) takes the reigns. Nixon is jockeyed back into the game, Johnson announces that he won't run; opening the door for a Nixon takeover and well, the rest is history. Other conspiracy theories branch off of this one but the goal of a 'one world government' persists. The players have changed.

It is of course, a bit more detailed, but that's the gist of it.

 

Yowzers! That's a doozy. I'm going to read up on this one. Sounds interesting. Sounds pretty crazy though, but the story seems cool. Thanks for sharing.

 

The Roswell crowd is always a good source of amusement for me. Especially the ones who wear aluminum foil on their heads.

 

Obie seemed so pleased with his 'girlyhurl'. Fist pump and all. Wonder if he tee's off from the ladies tee as well. I bet Michelle would knock the batter out of the box. Sort of a warning; 'Eat your veggies or next time yer goin' down, sucka'.

Birtherism is clearly based on racism. It's a bunch of white racists who simply cannot accept that a black man "legitimately" (by their standard) became President of "their" country.

So he must be a "ferr'iner with a fake Birth Certificate....ergo the elections were stolen and he's illegitimate."

It's simply part of their inability to accept reality that America is not a "white rule only" country.

Even Hard Righties like Glenn Beck and Ann Coulter have called out the Birthers.....Coulter compared them to the KKK. (Trying to dismiss them as kooks...but clearly sayin they are racist).


As for favorites....I like the "Moon Landing Hoax" guys (There is a forum for that here at PF....but only one real participant a guy named "Scott").....but also Don Townsend's "Humanoid Life on Mars Proven By Photo Of 'Thigh Bone"

Don ACTUALLY believes there was humanoid life on Mars...and there is "photographic evidence of it". Naturally, like Scott, he imagines NASA as a vast Machiavellian Conspiracy Machine....with 1000s of people able to keep the greatest discovery of our time....completely secret for decades.

 

JFK has been done a million ways. "The Onion" did the Final Word on it...with this-

 

Lol yea the Moon Landing is a Hoax is a one of the funniest conspiracy theories.

 

My favorite would be a conspiracy being fought by Jim, a schizophrenic in the town where I worked. He believe the Nazis, Communists, and the Jews were conspriing to rule the world. He also believed that his father, having an uncanny resembalance to Hitler, was murdered by the conspiracy and the man claiming to be his father is actually Hitler.

Jim had my favorite conspiracy theory and dedicated his life to fighting it.
