What Political Demonstrations Look Like in Sane Areas of the Country

Here's what political demonstrations among various opposing kook groups look like in my neck of the woods:



Yawn. Why don't they look like this in big blue cities? Why indeed?

The topic of this thread is simple, do you support allowing political demonstrations to degenerate into violence or not? More pointedly, do you support local political regimes that "wink wink nudge nudge" allow political demonstrations to get out of hand in their neck of the woods, why or why not? Thoughts?

 

Nobody wants to step up and support demonstrations that turn violent over and over again in big blue cities?

Good, then I'll expect to see some of our frequent LW posters strongly condemning it (snicker) when it occurs and increases into the election year.
