What Russia's deadliest nuclear sub could do to the US

Russia has 12 cities with more than a million people, 201 cities with between 100,000 and 1 million people, and 1292 cities with between 10,000 and 100,000 people.


So, one Ohio class sub has enough firepower to annihilate every Russian population center with over 100,000 population. The entire Ohio fleet could hit those plus every town over 10,000 with at least three warheads each. As much of a sociopath as Putin is, even he's not stupid enough to start something that would ensure his own personal extinction and make his entire country look like an episode of Fallout...

I know americans and russians love to compare dicksizes with eachother but would rather avoid getting bombed all together.
While im fairly confident nato would win vs russia alone it wouldnt be pretty not to mention half of europe would be against such a war especially if the us is the agressor and not the other way arround.

And since i live near brussels i would be screwed eitherway if something happends with nato and eu there, its a guaranteed target.

 

The only parts of NATO that would matter at that point would be Britain and France with their additional 515 nuclear warheads.

Also why would he ? If he wants land he can invade kazachstan or ukraine fairly easy. There is no need for baltic or polish lands other then maybe a port. Its poor its cold and its smelly it does have cute girls but thats about it.

 

And both got bigger social issues right now then attacking russia really. Besides im a bit worried we would screwe ourself with the climate after regardles

Putin hasn't invaded Kazakhstan or taken more of Ukraine but neither are part of NATO although they are both cooperative with NATO. But you should understand, that for Putin, the peeling away of countries from Russia towards NATO comes as both an existential threat and a personal insult. As a former agent in the KGB and an avowed nationalist, Putin has big dreams of resurrecting the glories of Imperial Russia, and that's a goal that is seriously hampered by the inclusion of what Putin would deem rightful Russian lands, such as the Baltics, into the NATO alliance.

 

Except that Putin's father suffered permanent injuries in World War Two fighting...…..in the Baltics(Lithuania I think).

Nothing will happen to Brussels if your government does not deploy American missiles or missile defense systems on its territory. Otherwise, Belgium will become a target for Russian missiles. It is obvious. Russians must defend themselves.

That's not true at all. Russia never 'bought' the Baltics. The three Baltic States, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania have historically been occupied by both Russian and Germany but they pulled away from the Russian Empire in 1917 and by the time the second world war began, all three were independent of Russia. So your claim that Russia bought the Baltics is absolute nonsense. It's like saying Great Britain owned the United States at one time so all of it should be returned to Great Britain.
