I don't know what 2.2 million you're talking about. But when MAGAs deny the death of thousands of people to justify their incompetent leaders it makes no difference how many they are. They hide facts just the same and, as a result, more people continue to die.

And then again, to the topic of this thread, I know this doesn't matter to MAGAs. They see the death of people as a political football. But DON'T feign surprise when students protest because it DOES matter to them, and they want it to stop.

Columbia has an undergrad enrollment of about 10,000 and a graduate enrollment of 27,000.

The number of demonstrators is a tiny percentage of the student body. Apathy probably characterizes most of the STEM majors, pre-med, pre-law, and the graduate students enduring whatever tasks their advisors have set for them.

On the other hand, I didn't know there were that many Theater Arts majors.

What I got right is that you claim my numbers are not valid, and that would require an idea of the "real numbers". I also got it right that you have NOTHING any more accurate than anyone else, but you do have lying, biased, RW sources if you want to trust them.

And you have a lot of confused intolerance to deal with.

And in 1900 the Jewish population was a minority population. So what's your point?

I agree with you, especially on the 2nd point -- the minions are using this to distract from Trump's many damning court revelations.

On the first point, overall these protests are bringing attention to the Palestinian issue, but so far, the students reporters have interviewed don't seem to really grasp the reality of the situation, especially the demand to have these universities divest from anything to do with Israel. Like that will do anything, gimme a break.

They are chanting from the valley to the sea, that is where Israel is. The silly, indeed disingenuous, attempts to explain this fact away are garbage.

I have no problem stating the truth. Thus far the revelations concerning trump have yet to reveal anything criminal.

What the hell does MAGA have to do with this thread? You made a bunch of offhanded assumptions about MAGA so I just explained why you are so against Making America Great Again. It IS a pretty good analysis of your though process, wouldn't you say? My post has an awful lot to do with this thread. It explains the drive that educators in our Universities' have as well as all the progressives and leftists. Read it again. Or better yet, I'll post it again!

Critical pedagogy is a philosophy of education and social movement that developed and applied concepts from critical theory and related traditions to the field of education and the study of culture.[1]

It insists that issues of social justice and democracy are not distinct from acts of teaching and learning.[2] The goal of critical pedagogy is emancipation from oppression through an awakening of the critical consciousness, based on the Portuguese term conscientização. When achieved, critical consciousness encourages individuals to effect change in their world through social critique and political action in order to self-actualize.

"Marcuse champions non-integrated forces of minorities, outsiders, and radical intelligentsia, attempting to nourish oppositional thought and behavior through promoting radical thinking and opposition. ....."

"The intelligentsia is a status class of educated people engaged in the complex mental labours that critique, guide, and lead in shaping the culture and politics of their society."

"Modern industrial societies have furthermore created an "affluent society", which in increasing comfort have disguised the exploitative nature of the system, and have therefore strengthened means of domination and control. Modern "affluent society" therefore limits opportunities for political revolution against capitalism....."

Max Horkheimer first defined critical theory (German: Kritische Theorie) in his 1937 essay "Traditional and Critical Theory", as a social theory oriented toward critiquing and changing society as a whole, in contrast to traditional theory oriented only toward understanding or explaining it. Wanting to distinguish critical theory as a radical, emancipatory form of Marxist philosophy,

Real brilliant.... Israel will be one state and Palestine will be another. Israel will continue being prosperous and a contributor to the world with innovations like "cell phones". Palestine will continue to call for the destruction of Israel, build tunnels and make acts of terror their mainstay, while they educate their children to hate Jews. Other than that, they will contribute nothing.

Okay buddy, I see you’re not up to the simple task of figuring it out even when I tell you it’s in your source and even point out the gist of what it says.

34,000 is the total dead. Aka they are NOT all civilians, so your regurgitation of that figure to mean civilians is a Hamas lie.

that number is both civilian and terrorist.

Now. Figure out the math from there and come up with a better number of civilian dead than the total and obvious lie that zero terrorists have died and 100% civilians

That's really what it comes down to. How many from the anti-Israel camp think they had it coming? I would venture to say almost all the protestors across US college campuses believe they got what they deserved on October 7th.

So how many times must we repeat this tragedy before we permit Israel to do what must be done to eliminate Hamas? You know this is my primary problem with all of this. We have thanks to Hamas' European allies place this tragedy on a endless loop to be repeated over and over apparently until there are no more Jews to be killed there. It isn't like there is somplace else to send them, they only place that still tolerates them is Lebanon but they have run the Lebanese Christians out of the country and done the same thing for Syrian Christians and pretty much reduced what was once known as the Paris of the Middle east to rubble.

I provided a link for what I thought you were requesting. I had no problem reading the link.

There are numerous sources citing the desire to eliminate Israel. I did not realize anyone did not believe it was true.

This is total moo moo poo poo, As usual you take what could be an interesting discussion topic and turn it into a political mouse turd. Well done. Your distorted and perverted view of all things MAGA degrades you contributions to the forum.

As I've told you several times HAMAS is the villain in this scenario. The brutality and inhumanity of their action in the first few days of the conflict removes them from the earth's humanity. Beyond that their conduct during the conflict is contrary to every law of war in existence. Particularly positioning non-combatants is areas of active combat. Soldiers under armed attack are entitled to return fire and protect themself. In that regard combatants are required to wear distinctive uniforms. Hamas hasn't followed a single requirement of these laws. They and they alone are responsible for the carnage of these fellow Palestinians.

Oh, and I wouldn't believe there casualty counts either.
