Just finishing the last little tidbits of Saints Row 3. Holy crap what a crazy game. Never played the first two but it's so close to GTA that it wasn't hard to get into. Super stoke for SR4, but GTA 5 is going to consume me for a good long while.

Right now I'm playing Dead Space 2, and I don't think I'm being unmanly when I say it scares the (*)(*)(*)(*) out of me.

As far as game play goes SEEN has the best controls but 2 was my favorite. 3 was fun but it started to stray from it's roots. Regardless I'm still looking forward to 4.

The only GTA that I liked was San Andreas. When 4 came out I was so disappointed by it but after watching some previews for 5 I have to say I'm getting excited by it.

Have you heard of Watchdogs? Now that looks interesting. I'm looking forward to that.

I haven't beat the first one yet but it's pretty fun. Unfortunately the.third looks like it's going down the path of Resident Evil.

I'm currently replaying Deus Ex HR. God that is an awesome game. I seriously hope they make a sequel for it. And keep Michael McCann on for the music. The soundtrack is just awesome.

Just beat The Last of us. That was pretty good. It was like watching a movie. Not sure if I want to grab Splinter Cell this payday or Diablo 3. Internet is acting up at the house and the playstation hasn't been wanting to log on so I'll probably grab Splinter Cell first. I want to do Diablo with my friend online.

    Is that the NES game?

I think I played that back in the day but I can't remember. I do however remember playing Double Dribble and whining because I couldn't pass the ball. My brother who was playing against me would say "Don't worry, I'm coming" and then steal the ball from me. Obviously I whined some more.

4 Is hilariously insane. Just no attempt at seriousness at all. Between destroying a flying rocket to the tune of Aerosmiths - Don't wanna miss a thang, to the Dubstep Gun (awesome), plus super powers. This game is insane.

As for the GTA Series, I've honestly never really finished any rockstar single player walk throughs. I get bored over time. 4 will always be awesome to me just because I found the driving to be so perfect that sometimes when I need to relax I'll just drive around the city with the radio on.

5 looks Amazing though. So much to do it's going to be epic. Watchdogs I've played the Demo but haven't played the whole game. Should be interesting.

Tecmo Bowl is the greatest game ever made. It's even better than Tecmo Super Bowl.

I mean, just look at these great graphics:

I hated the driving in 4. That was the biggest thing that turned me off. It was to easy to spin your car around which is not something you want to do when making a turn.

Where did you play a demo for Watchdogs? I haven't seen anything available for that.

Not counting a wrestling game I really can't remember the last sports game that I've played. Not really into them to much.

Yeah, you had to be pretty conservative with the parking break.

Sorry, I keep getting SleepingDogs mixed up with WatchDogs.

I was actually wondering if that's what you were doing. I let my friend hold SleepingDogs and he got excited until he realized it wasn't what he thought it was.

And now I'm playing the new Splinter Cell. While I enjoy it something does seem off about it. Something just seems to be missing from it that Conviction had. It's not the voice actor(who I think they could have gone with someone a lit older sounding)even though Jeremy Ironside was replaced. And as much as I liked the screen going black in white while you hid in the shadows from the previous game that's not really an issue either. It's weird. I enjoy the game and I'm having fun with all the side missions(I hate Grimm's), something just seems to be different.

Playing Europa Universalis IV , i do not like all the changes but after some heavy editing of the French events it is an improvement from EU3 .

    Wow, hello memory lane.

Someone brought up Tecmo Bowl. Between that game and Tecmo Super Bowl, that was half of my gaming life as a kid. I always used the Raiders because as a kid I thought Bo Jackson was the (*)(*)(*)(*), and those games are old enough that he was still on the roster.

Thinking about that makes me remember the RBI baseball series, where half the batters have the girth of Babe Ruth. Can't forget Bases Loaded either, with the umpires named Yuk, Dum, Boo, and Bum. Fenday from the Dodgers was the man!

Looking at what I'm playing now and how far technology has come, I think I could probably play those old games on my watch. Definitely on my android phone.

To completely jump topics, I'm pretty stoked about BF4. Have it on pre-order. Not too excited about commander mode not being a part of the actual game(you log in to it separately from your computer or even a tablet), but I'm willing to see how that ends up working out. Wouldn't be the first time I was apprehensive about something that ended up being cool.

I'm a Battlefield man. No CoD for me, at least multi-player wise. The CoD series still does the best single player. Will have to see what the single player BF4 offering is. I worry that EA is trying to turn the Battlefield series into CoD lite with vehicles. Bad idea. Keep them separate and unique. I know it's a business decision to woo CoD players, but still. If I wanted CoD style fighting, I'd just play CoD. I buy Battlefield for the vehicle combat and large maps, not for CoD style maps like Operation Metro which is just chokepoint spamfest bullcrap. It doesn't even have vehicles. A battlefield map without vehicles is like watching a Godzilla movie where they just talk about Godzilla and he never actually comes. Lame lame lame lame lame lame!

Just beat Saints 4. I Red Boxed it. Short like I figured it would be but still fun. And nobody calls Roddy Piper.

Battlefield and CoD are alright but they're not really spectacular in my opinion. Then again I've never played them online. My favorite fps games in no particular order are Half-Life 2, Chronicles of Riddick, Deus Rx Human.Revolution, and The Darkness.

Have you ever played the original? It's certainly aged noticeably, but in its time was unparalleled awesome.

I've rediscovered my Age of Empires addiction, so the first two are all I've been playing recently.

Yes I have many many years ago. Unfortunately the depth and magnitude of the story and game play elements were lost on me at the time. I didn't fully understand or appreciate just what I was playing and would love to replay it all over again. I'm hoping Square will do a remake of it but I don't really see that happening. I would settle for a rerelease of it.
