I don't think it needs any argument. In general the intelligence of every big group of people is near 100±15 (x-average ± sigma: Sometimes some test are using another scale, for example 200±30.) If a very big group of people - millions or even billions of people in case of religious people (and by the way: everyone is religous - ask psychologists ) are - ¿how much less? - intelligent than others - then there's something wrong with this people or with the test or with the people doing the tests or with the enculturation, socialisation and or other factors of education in the modern western societies (or maybe sicknesses, hunger and other biological factors are important for this result). If I count for example in this forum here how many atheist are calling Christians idiots on very stupid reasons and how seldom Christians are doing the same, then I would say it's exactly in the opposit. Christians are much more intelligent than Atheists. But this is maybe only an illusion - because the theory about intelligence says very clear that every big group of people ... By the way: The last time I took a look on the diagnostics of intelligence it had more than 500 different factors - I would not be astonished if next week or next century a book with the title "religious intelligence" would be written from the same people. Oh I see - I am an idiot. Next century no one of them is any longer alive. Ts ts ts - Tyeah yeah - sigh - So you can see: Christians are idiots - or am only I an idiot? But how am I able to speak German what sounds like a bad english with an IQ of less than ¿70? in a scale of 100±15?
