Is this something new or part of the old database error problems? Kinda strange... everytime Obama speaks live (like last night's press conference), the site goes down. I've noticed because this is the second time I was going to start a thread to discuss his speech... but got an error msg when I tried to log on. Coincidence?
As long as it's the fat free, sugar free, tax free, environmentally free and politically free vanilla flavour with chocolate connections, I suppose.
The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later. Over the past week, it seems as though this issue has became more problematic. For me at least, today is the worst I've seen. It is becoming increasingly frustrating waiting several seconds for anything to load. Is it completely out of thought to switch to a different server? Perhaps a dedicated one? Is it completely cost prohibitive? Any webmasters care to enlighten me? I confess my ignorance of the specifics, but am interested in learning and helping to resolve the issue if possible.
I have only been on this site for a couple of weeks but it is by far one one of the slowest at least that I use. I can load up a page full of quicktime and flash movies on gaming and movie weapon sites in a second or two but this site sometimes takes several seconds to load pages and this is just mostly text.
Hey! They have to work hard to get it this slow!! Server's been busy several times today, too. Bah, humbug.
I love this forum, so I say this in love, if it is hosted on a NT server, switch to a unix server quickly! NT is great for a lot of things, but not social media such as forums. You will notice 100% improvement on every thing! As long as it is on a dedicated or semi dedicated unix server!
Reminds me of the movie private ryan, who does the Bosslady gripe too? Tom hanks said it best Chain of Command 'I don't gripe to you, Reiben. I'm a Captain. There's a chain of command. Gripes go up, not down. Always up. You gripe to me, I gripe to my superior officer, so on, so on, and so on. I don't gripe to you. I don't gripe in front of you. You should know that as a Ranger.' - Captain Miller, Saving Private Ryan
I've got to pick on your signature. The reality is more like this: Democrats: Money for the poor at the expense of the rich Republicans: Freedom for all to become rich
