When 2A fights back with 1A

This Billboard went up in the Denver area after Gov. Hickenlooper passed some very restrictive gun laws. Now the progressives are upset. I find it very fitting for the current climate while others find it disturbing.

Progressives are demanding that it needs to come down, So much for 1A. What are your opinions?

I've been saying all along that they are not nearly as interested in just your guns, it's the whole Bill of Rights they want.
I still say most progressive Libs want total gun control, as in no guns, for us, while they hide their guns waiting for the day they can steal everything else at gun point. Progressive Lib=communist

 

The irony is that the Native Americans were better off before the people with guns arrived.

 

That may be what's in store for America if the anti-gunners get their way. It was government whipping up sympathy against native Americans, powered by some big money, feeding the public lies about the Indians, then decimating the entire poorly armed population. Guess what, that's what is in store for us.

Are they? I see objections to the use of Native Americans (which I think has a little justification) but nothing actually demanding they're taken down.

I don't really see the point of the poster. It seems to be more emotive that engaging in any rational debate (especially since it's apparently put up by anonymous individuals). They are do indeed have the right to put up the posters but I'm not sure it actually does them any credit overall.

 

I see legislation being introduced or passed, do you call this objections? Kinda polite way of saying it.

I've no idea what you're talking about here. Your OP stated that a billboard had been put up and that progressives are demanding the billboard is taken down. I just questioned that second statement because I saw nothing in the articles reporting that.

I'm not talking about gun control laws at all, just about the billboard and the reaction to it.

I think the billboard is stupid and only the historically ignorant would agree with the image used. They would have been better of using a Japanese American or a Jew. The former would require some knowledge of American history and the later would get a lot of political blowback. So they used Native Americans.

BTW for those who agree with the billboard, when did Native Americans get the protections of The Bill of Rights?

 

You want to take away the ability to purchase a firearm. The ability to purchase an item is a "thing".

 

only to you. And that's what's nice about the Bill of Rights. They are INDIVIDUAL in nature and design. Let's you decide what's good or bad for you, but only for yourself. If the govenment cannot tell us what to do with our Bill of Rights, you have even less authority to order your neighbors about.

Strange, in the article YOU posted it does not backup what YOU are claiming, that progressives demand the sign come down because they are against the message. Maybe yoy should read and think before posting articles hoping they say what you want them to. Epic Thread Failure on your part.

Sorry, not really strange but appreciate your drama. I live in the area and the radio talk shows/local news are all buzzed with it. Some are calling in with suggesting using pics of Jews from WWII, Some want to use Blacks and KKK images or passing city/county laws preventing such advertisement.

The whole thing has evolved since 1st posting.

Go here and read the comment section at the bottom of the page or Google it. My comments seem very tame compared to all the people coming out of the wood work.
