This was not, as you might expect, a comment made concerning the extravagant security costs associated with Trump Tower and Mar-A-Lago; it was a tweet made by Trump protesting the needless expense of a Russia-Trump collusion investigation.

Trump's behavior IS confusing, but not really a smokescreen. . . . IS ANYBODY PAYING ATTENTION???

Reagan had Alzheimer's, but I believe cognitive dissonance is a far more dangerous disorder in a President.

Trump's father had Alzheimers.. Maybe it is cognitive dissonance with a big dose of vindictiveness.

The Democrats just keep importing cheap foreign labor to drive wages down and compete for jobs. Now those are real champions of the working stiffs aren't they.

No the Democrats didn't import cheap labor, but Trump did.. We haven't had good border control in 50 years. Some conservatives wouldn't stand for it. Its just like Trump to reverse the US position on child labor.. THAT is what he has done.

That would explain the democrats losing so many government seats nationwide.

Democrats are concerned about immigration, too, but do YOU not have even a vestige of empathy for desperate refugees PLEADING for a safe harbor???

Besides, it is Trump and the commercially-driven Republicans who are EXPORTING the jobs and welcoming cheap labor.

Gosh, you would think those democrats would introduce new law instead of just continually trying to break the laws they passed.

That must be why the Democrats fight anything that would slow down illegal immigration huh?

No they didn't fight anything that slowed illegal immigration.. Deal in reality for a change.. Give up partisanship at any cost.. The damned price for that is much to high.

Both parties do - the left out of concern for human beings, and the right out of concern for money and the exploitation of illegal workers.

You know damn well "the wall" will never be built. It is a boondoggle for Trumps construction buddies. Nothing more.

Not even a little bit. If they had even a hair on their backsides they'd stay home and fight to make their homeland a better place.

That's why he is stepping up interior enforcement and trying to build a barrier and it's working.

We certainly have been seeing the reality of Partisanism being a destroying factor here for at least 8 years to be sure, although it's been an issue far longer.

The left then, must only care for noncitizens then, concerning illegal immigration. Not our problem. There are legal methods to become a citizen, or resident alien.

Many fat cats on the right may only be concerned with that which you state, however, many more pulling R are concerned about the safety of our citizens... Along with artificially low wages associated with that cheap illegal labor.

How does concern for immigrants equal a lack of concern for citizens? B does not follow A

The right wing minions have been duped into thinking the wall is a solution to all their problems. The fact is that even Republicans who understand the problems in border states generally oppose it. It is a ruse for the gullible.

And it sends a terrible message to the world.
