Why should I assault the OT? As a Catholic I understand the OT was written by man and inspired by God. Was it written with recording secretaries at every turn of the journey? Of course not.

The primary reason for the Crusades were expeditions undertaken, in fulfillment of a solemn vow, to deliver the Holy Places from Mohammedan tyranny. I went over this point in another thread.

I respect people period. This is a forum. If you do not like what I have posted to prove my point, then by all means ignore my posts.

Was not the Quran written by man too? Also influenced by God, right? What is the new testament if not written by the Apostles? What Mohammedan tyranny? I have a question, are not the attrocities commited by Christians just as bad as the ones commited by the Muslims?

No, I take responsibility for posting it and sharing it. That was me, not Dean.

But I did not think it would be taken as an attack on Christianity. I felt the question was a valid question, one as a Muslim I have heard countless times.

Dean, nor I, bash Christianity as a faith in the article or this thread, respectively. You can look though my 3000+ posts, I haven't hated on any faiths. There is no point in hating a religion.

How is that related to this thread through? I didn't generalize all Christians in this tjread, the article actually names some specific Christians that it refers to.

Then you have missed the entire point of this thread.

    Thank you :)

    Thinker,

Thank your posting in this thread. You are a wonderful.example of the real Christians who practice the teachings of Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him) and speak out against the ones who do nothing but spread hate.

You are an example of the "Good Christians" that are out there, and there are many of you fortunately. (I mean that in a good way, not sarcastic or anything like that, fits the thread worded that way).

Well not quite. We believe that the Quran is the literal word of God.

BTW I tried to reply to your post in the Islam thread, if that answer wasn't good enough let me know. Any more info would be appreciated as I'm not 100% what you mean by two books.

Where are the good Christians? I been asking myself that very question for many years. A religion based on love seems over run by people who practice judgment and hate hidden behind a fake smile. Right with God on their side and the Holy Bible wield as a blunt force weapon on us heathens.

But at least I am not bitter.
