Where have all the real men gone?

Where are they?

There used to be a time when you could rely on a man to be a man, someone who would be there to protect you, to comfort you, someone you could fall in love with and take care of when they need it but its so fake nowadays.

All they do is play games to get laid, to talk to their buddies, none of them seem serious about anything and when you do find one that seems legit it turns out he's insane, running from the law, is married....where have they gone?

Today it seems men think that getting in your face and being obnoxious makes them attractive..it doesn't



I don't want that in my life....I want a man who thinks about more than himself and how great he is and how good his job is and what clothes he wears...I want a man that thinks about others before himself



I don't want a man that thinks being rude is hot, that not caring is the "in" thing, its not, let me tell you.


Its ok to lie to make your woman feel special and important, sometimes we don't want or need the truth, sometimes your job is to lift us up even if we are wrong.

Be there for us and it will come back ten fold.



Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any of these men left. The few that were good are taken and the rest are simply a waste of time.

 

I blame extreme feminism. I also put it down to the inherent incompatibility between the genders which, except in extremely rare instances, is one of the facts of life.

I don’t see how men (or women) have magically changed in any significant way. There has always been a massive range of types of people so the idea that men are one particular way is clearly flawed, based on a specific perception rather than overall reality.

Guys have figured out they can play the feminism game to get what they want with zero commitment. How do I know this? I am a guy.

I’ve never claimed to be “sensitive” but no-strings sex has never appealed to me either and I know I’m not alone in that (though admitting it brings exactly the kind of petty insults you’re flinging). Neither of our preferences are new and neither are fundamentally wrong.

Maybe there are fewer 'good men' around these days, but it's always been this way. I often saw good men, the nice guys passed over by women for the bad boys who would give them excitement. Many didn't start looking at the nice guys until they had a couple kids and divorced the bad boys.

Plenty of them out there. What you won’t acknowledge is that you have other standards too. Superficial standards that many of the men with the personality you desire don’t meet.

People have some pretty bonkers expectations when it comes to a romantic partner, and a sense of entitlement that is sky high and fueled by TV shows and pop culture. Ever dismiss a man on sight?

Fine if you did, but the personality traits you want can’t be seen by looking at his body. So let’s be a bit more honest here. What you want is all those things you said, but he also needs to meet your physical and financial standards. You’re a bit more choosy than you are letting on. Everyone is.

 

Define "real men."

 

Uncalled for and unnecessary. And very likely not true in this case.

There is nothing wrong or unmanly about being courteous and kind. The best advice I ever heard was in 'Grand Torino' when Eastwood's character tells the young Hmong "Be nice but don't suck up." In fact the man who cannot be courteous and kind is also the man least sure of himself.

 

Quit hanging around the leftness and their beta males. Just sayin.
