Where is Trump's economic miracle?

The only thing soaring is the stock market, and that's due to the usual irrational exuberance. Despite the constant flood of BS, he has not brought a single job home from China, nor is he actually even trying to with his easy trade war. Instead, he's only managing to bankrupt farmers and cause their suicide rate to go up while manufacturing is in recession.

The numbers: The U.S. factory sector declined in the three months ended in June, the second straight quarterly decline, the Federal Reserve said Tuesday.

For the second quarter, production was down 1.2% after a 1.9% decline in the first three months of the year. Manufacturing fell at a 2.2% rate in the second quarter after a 1.9% drop in the first three months of the year.

But, at least he's deporting decent family men and women whose only "crime" is being here without legal citizenship or a valid visa, and separating and locking up refugee families. So much winning right there. He isn't doing anything to stop gun crime and he is harming the middle class a lot more than he his helping it, but at least he is inflicting harm on minorities on behalf of a bunch of angry white bigots.

 

These are two selected examples. No matter how great an economy is the weak companies will fail.

The economy is doing so great that we can afford a giant cut in capital gains tax. This will benefit Americans getting ready for retirement. Imagine you are a auto worker who has been disciplined about saving and investing for the last thirty years and you have accumulated $25 million in assets. This tax cut would be huge to ensure you have enough for retirement.

 

To get rid of President Trump we have aholes rooting against this country. How sad...

 

No matter how much you trivialize it, being here illegally is a crime and those doing it are criminals.

Even the stock market has been flat for 18 months. The tax cut sugar high is fizzling out fast, as predicted. Next will come the hypoglycemia hangover, also as predicted.

It is a tribute to distorted perception driven by partisanship that so many Trumper's think things are significantly better with the "Trump" economy (if ever there was a misnomer it's that) than when Obama was prez. Basically, the Orange Fraud inherited a good economy and juiced it with deficit spending. The effect of the tax cut is now waning. Global growth has slowed or turned negative. Now the Divider-in-Chief is "thinking about" a payroll tax cut to fuel growth with more deficit spending in order to stave off the inevitable recession until after the election.











But then when we have the Conman-in-Chief spinning his lies 24/7 with the support of right wing media it's easier to understand how so many have been duped.

 

And the celebration of Trump-hate continues 24/7 in la-la land.....

 

Your proof that Obama was bad for the economy and bad for business was that he was the first President not to have GDP numbers above 3%. Well guess what, neither has Trump. So we are just using YOUR metric here.

 

But with the left doing everything possible to insure our national failure in order to vindicate their hate and embarrassment, isn't it hard to point the finger at Trump or anyone without pointing to yourself first?
That would depend on how honest such a person could be with themselves.
