State of Texas will be gaining two house seats in 2022 along with five others. There are seven that will lose one each. The five that are going to gain seats other than Texas are North Carolina, Florida, Oregon, Colorado and Montana which lost one in 1991 but gets it back. The ones that lost were West Virginia, Illinois, Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and California. I wouldn't be surprised if any of those states lost population in that time. The ones that gained might have gained population. So there you have it.
The GOP have a lot to do to pull it all together. I wouldn't be surprised that Trump ruined the GOP if he hasn't already.
I've heard speculation that the dems in NY are considering making AOC's district the one that gets eliminated.
With all the crap that the Dirty Donald administration was trying to pull with the census it was probably rigged(fixed).
New York didn't lose population. It just didn't gain as much as other places. There are reports that if 89 more people had filled out their census forms, New York wouldn't have lost a seat at all.
