There is a memo from the Watergate era, and it has the force of law. You are not the first one to complain about that but it is virtually certain that had Mueller violated it the courts would have upheld it, and then future prosecution of Trump might have been precluded.

i don't know about this. I've been against impeachment from the beginning and said so. Trump isn't going to be removed and will just have several months to play the martyr and screech "fake news"

Now if the impeachment trial can be delayed until just before the election, and the American people treated to the spectacle of the Lickspittle Legion voting to let a convicted criminal off scot free we might get rid of all the Republicans at once.
